If I could give a no star review I would. I am a full believer in small businesses and i have been to this store a few times but after this past time, I will not be returning.

If you are not a size 2 your not welcome, and what i mean is your not treated the same.

I visted the store with my friend who is a size 2 and i clearly am not. Well i walked in, in the mood to find some cute outfits and i saw this dress, gorgeous dress, well a sales lady came up and said "oh, i only have this up to a size 8". Im like ok didnt think much about it but she proceeded to help my friend get the dress in her size and she didnt even say she wanted it. Well i need to add i did have my daughter with me, while my friend was trying on outfits i continued to look. Well between me and the other small customer in the store. I got no suggestions made to me. While the other lady was being followed by the sales lady saying "oh this would be so pretty on you and etc." I understand maybe it was cause i had my daughter with me but every time id ask a question it wa oh this is only in a small... Very blunt no other suggestions given and at one point while i was looking at the simply southern shirts (which i know fit me) i was told "theres a sofa if you wanna sit down"...

Im terribly offended. I just had a baby I know my physique isnt the greatest but from someone that is in their fitness journey, to have someone not want to help you cause your bigger than their typical customer, is insulting. I have spreaded the word and will not be returning.

Absolutely love Chocolate Shoe! We walked in and was greeted immediately! I believe it was the owner who went above and beyond to find the perfect clothing items for my teen daughter. She knew exactly what size to hand my daughter and we ended up buying everything my daughter tried on! I wish I wasn’t so insecure to try their clothes on because I most likely would have spent a lot more money!!! However, I will be making a trip for just myself in the future because I do believe that they could help my closet come to life!!! Good quality, great pricing and upbeat environment! First I want to say my experience is a reflection of several trips over several months because I understand that people/places can have an off day. However every single visit has been the same, a cold indifference. Not even a "Hello, how are you?" If I'm dressed up, if I'm dressed down, it's like I'm invisible. I've come to realize it's because I'm not a size 4. Nevermind that I could purchase accessories from them, since I'm plus size my business is not needed.

So plus size ladies (or really anyone interested in body positively across all body shapes) don't bother visiting this store. They don't want...
