Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Florida

We sat at the speaker ordering our food, a girl named riley was taking our order, we ordered a cranberry slush and i guess she didn’t know where that was on the menu and asked someone where it was and then the speaker was silent for over 10 minutes ( also it’s worth to mention that all together we were in the parking lot for around 1 hour just trying to order and that’s completely outrageous)as we sat saying hello?? anyone there ? and trying to get there attention only to finally pull up to the window when all the other cars were gone and the guy at the window didn’t apologize or anything, honestly acted like it was our fault because all he said was “oh we thought you drove off” as we sat at the speaker for over 10 minutes with an angry line of cars behind us. so then we had to finish our order at the window, got the stuff we ordered like 15 minutes ago that was pretty cold and sitting there and then had to wait another 10 minutes at the window. not to mention we tried to pull up to a speaker and order but we pressed the red button and waited and no one would respond that’s why we decided to go through the drive thru. I worked in the fast food industry for 5 years. I have seen every scam and play ran on restaurants. But when I pay an extra 1.00 for bacon and I received a burrito with NO bacon, I request a new order. Then the manager sends out Ms. Attitude saying to give him the food back and he will make me a new order. Mind you it's cold by now. I am not going to eat it. Why would you dare ask for it back when you made the mistake. Fix my food that you messed up.

And this is why I don't tip!!!! As I am writing this review the manager comes out because I asked to speak with him. He lies to me and says he didn't tell her he wanted the food back. He wanted me to throw it away. He is arguing with me about how to dispose my 6.99 burrito that I can't eat. I then roll up the window because I am not going to argue with him. Then 5 minutes go by and sends out Ms thing again and asks me if I still wanted my burrito. I said are you serious. I said yes. She's like well he said you rolled the window up. I said yes because I wasn't going to argue with him. LOL wow! They will just hire just about anyone off the street....

Brittany saved this visit to this Sonic. In the past, I have received cold tots from this location. So, when I ordered, I asked for the tots to be "out of the vat" meaning I want them straight out of the oil so they would be hot and fresh. I was told ok. I also asked for mayonnaise to save the server extra steps and to not have to make an extra trip. The order taker even repeated the words "packs of mayonnaise" back to me. The food was brought out to me and Brittany asked if I would like anything else. Brittany had not put the food in the bag so I looked for the mayonnaise and found none. I checked the tots, found out they were cold and sent them back. Brittany was very polite and got the mayonnaise and hot tots out to me as fast as she could. I have not gotten food from this location for years (I would only get slushies since it is hard to mess those up) because of how much they have messed up my food in the past. I'll have to think before going back. Brittany is the reason I am giving 3 stars...
