Edit for response- my main complaint was the lack of stellar customer service & quality. It’s went down dramatically as we went every weekend when the old owners were there. Since the change, we rarely go for a reason. The old owners knew each order & were so nice. You can tell the new staff doesn’t care like that. It’s chaos like I said. You can refute it all you want but at the end of the day the lack of quality will drive this business out like many others. What was once an amazing ice cream place is not now. You can write five paragraphs to respond to me all you want but constructive criticism can make or break your business, it’s best to take the criticism reevaluate and fix what’s wrong. Your local customers are your target audience & if they’re not satisfied they will stop coming eventually. Instead of making it sound like a me problem because I’m not “understanding”, evaluate your service and quality.

One star now instead of my previous five star review. I feel like management must have changed as this place is so disorganized & terrible now. My family received melted ice cream tonight & the woman handing them out called the ice cream the wrong names, it was chaotic nobody knew what their order was due to this. Super disorganized, nobody cares about your experience like they used to. A little girl puked by the order window which just made it even worse. The quality of the ice cream is so bad now, the people serving it don’t care now, I miss the older married couple who used to run this establishment. It’s gone down the hill since. Never going back, I recommend Culver’s instead for ice cream. Consistent and not low quality chaotic.

I have been eating at dreamette in jacksonville, since about 1967 I have had Dreamette's cones, dipped cones, shakes, Cherry cokes and of course the best bananas splits. Tonight, I purchased a banana split from the Dreamette in Middleburg, I have gotten banana splits,many from this Dreamette when they first opened and they were amazing. But the ones i have gotten over the last couple months were not good at all, it was totally different the bananas were in long pieces I had to use my spoon to cut them so I could eat them, then they had a funny taste, when I called I told the girl who answered the phone to go taste one and she see what I was talking about, but she said they were not allowed to eat on the clock, the pieces of strawberries were limp. The walnuts were not the pieces soaked in syrup they were large plain walnuts, and there was muuuch less ice cream but were the same price. My daughter also got the honeymoon shake and said no coconut and got coconut and no pineapples.I am unable to drive anymore, so I couldnt have dreamette anymore and was thrilled they brought one to middleburgbut now I will not be able to get a Banana Split from Dreamette any longer. It is cash only but there's ATMs from multiple banks within walking distance if you need to use one.

The sunday was made well. They layered the butterscotch and the ice cream in the cup so you could get to it easier than if the butterscotch was all on the top or all on the bottom.

My fiance got the shake. Also made well. Plentiful candy that was evenly distributed. Not so thick that it's uncomfortable to drink either.

They offer ice cream cones as well as cups. They also dip ice cream as well. To go ice cream was for sale for 4 bucks. They also offer banana splits in a cup which I can't wait to try later. Selection of fillings and such for all menu items is a decent size. You'd be hard pressed to not be satisfied with what they offer.

Portions are big, they don't stop at the top of the cup when getting a sunday. Some of the cheapest dessert in town for the size you get. Ours was 15 something for two medium menu items with extras. Service was quick and polite. I will...
