I have never been a big fan of the Middleburg chain of restaurants however my mind has been changed about our neighborhood Popeyes. I have gone to Popeyes store #187 8 times this month I know that because I was lectured by my husband about my eating habits! Each time I have gone I have had the most pleasant experience there has been a few times I have had a decent wait time for my meal however I waited inside and saw that it wasnāt due to laziness it was due to production. Amanda was my drive through order taker she is absolutely an amazing delight! She is kind informative and very kind always had a smile even during a rush! Me. Kim (I believe she is the manager) she is also a beautiful delight and ev n when I had to change my order at the window because my husband changed his mind on food she did it with a sense of pleasure as to say She was unburdened! And last night during my visit it seemed that āAmandaā was in a very cheerful mood even though she was dealing with extra āviciousā customers she still smiled and her superior seemed to be very supportive for her and if I may say so I think she would do a great job as a trainer! Also upon my visit I vented to my order taker āAmandaā about how my meal had to be soft as it was for my sister in the hospital āDarleneā I asked if she would mind praying for her if she believed in the word and on the spot she allowed me to take her hand and bowed her head and followed me in a healing prayer it gripped my heart and I am ever so grateful! If she has a chance to read this, Darlene was released from icu this morning thank you for your compassion (a rare find these days) I am merely writing this review not because I am boasting but I attempted to give Amanda a tip and I assume she saw me counting change and asked that I keep my money and just spread the word that the restaurant was under new management and improved and promote the food so this is my attempt to promote them!!

All of their closing times listed online are apparently incorrect. Went through the drive thru last night, on a Monday, at 10 o'clock, where I was ignored at the intercom and then at the window. There were three employees inside "cleaning up", two of which promptly hid when I pulled up to the window instead of approaching to say they were closed/that their hours were incorrect. Online it states they're open until 11 PM most nights, including Monday, but the manager called back to tell me they are apparently supposed to close at 10 PM all nights except Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, when they stay open until 11 PM. I'm not sure if they're being dishonest to keep from getting a negative review, or if their online system is just terribly outdated, as they've always been open until 11 PM as far as I've known. Regardless of the times - which I honestly just want others to be aware of so they don't waste their own time like I did - I believe the way the situation was handled by the two employees was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Not only did they wave at me and then proceed to not say a single word, they hid from view when I cam to the window to ask if they were open. I understand that a lot of associates expect people to freak out, but regardless, it's their job to ensure the customer is taken care of and served. All they had to do was open the window, OR simply say over the intercom, "Hey, I'm very sorry, but we're closed." And I would've driven away then instead of sitting and wasting 10 minutes of my time. My first experience there I had a rude employee taking my order. Literally every item I ordered was met with a snappy and rude, āIs that it?ā I ordered a chicken tender family meal, which comes with sides, and before I could tell her what I wanted for my sides she cut me off with her rude, āIs that it?ā Iām thinking to myself, āhow do you know what sides I want? You didnāt even ask before cutting me off with your annoying āis that it?ā I ordered several other things - a sandwich and beignets and an extra side order of fries. When I got my order it was completely wrong - the only thing they got right was one side item. We made out like bandits though bc they not only had to give us our correct order when we drove back, but we got to keep the incorrect order - A 16 piece fried chicken meal, 8 biscuits, and sides.
2nd experience there I was told the chicken tenders were a 25-30 min wait, so I was going to order their classic chicken sandwich, and all I got out of my mouth was, āIāll take a classic-ā and I got rudely cut off with a, āWe donāt got that.āā¦I said, āOk, beignets?ā āWe aināt got them either.ā At this point Iām wondering if all theyāre serving are beverages. I said Iād take a fried chicken meal with fries and mashed potatoes and I was met with the bill total before she even gave me a chance to order anything else. I wound up just driving away ((because itās not nice to punch people)).
