St. Luke's Urgent Care: Fruitland — Local services in Fruitland

I absolutely loved all of the employees! Everyone including the receptionist, nurse, and doctor were fantastic but the wait time almost killed me! I am being dramatic but I had a two hour window in my very busy schedule to run in for a sinus infection. The receptionist was kind, concise, and comforting. She directed me to the seating area, where I waited patiently for an hour in a half. At this point I realized they had only taken back two out of the three people in front of me back to be seen. I hit the two hour mark where I knew I would be late and got up to leave when suddenly I hear an angelic voice call my name. I felt I had waited for so long I couldn't possibly give up now. The nurse took me back and did her thing like a professional and assured me that help was on the way. An additional 30 minutes later, Dr. McDreamy came in, looked at me and listened to me for maybe 2 minutes max, diagnosed me, and off I went. Bravo guys! The three stars are for the three amazing employees I had the privilege of encountering. The fact that the stress of waiting for so long almost caused me to stroke out when all I had was a simple sinus infection warrants more than a two star subtraction. I took time from work to be seen in Urgent Care for a current knee issue. Ladies at the front desk confirmed my information and got be checked in quickly and efficiently. I was seated in the waiting area for approximately 10 minutes before being called back. After being seated in the exam room, my vitals were taken and the reason for my visit was documented. My wife was attending the visit with me and running a little behind, but the ladies at the front desk kept an eye out for her and brought her back upon arrival. About 10 minutes after being seated in the exam room, PAC Jackie Puca arrived and listened attentively while I detailed my issue. Jackie genuinely sympathized with my issue and provided assistance where she could. Jackie suggested some medications that might provide some relief and placed further referrals to assist me in further medical care. I’ve been in many urgent care, orthopedic and emergency facilities over the years and today’s visit ranked as one of the best I’ve been apart of; particularly in the care and efficiency of each person involved. The nurse and Doctor were great! Wonderful bedside manners, and truly cared to get things taken care of the right way, and in a timely manner. I’ve seen this doctor on a couple different occasions and he is ALWAYS respectful, kind, and takes care of my needs. I’ve seen him when I’ve been absolutely sick and at my lowest with my health, and I’ve seen him for some more minor here and there things. Each time I’ve had to visit St. Luke’s Urgent Care Clinic and he’s been the practicing provider… I feel relief because I know I’ll be taken care of properly and treated with respect. This man needs a raise/promotion or SOME kind of reward 😊 not every person is made to work in this field due to horrible bedside manners, not caring correctly for patients etc… but he’s definitely in the right field… it suits him!
