If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my cadillac here for a fuel leak. They rans tests on it while I waited in the lobby and couldn't figure it out. Asked if I could bring it back so they could have more time, keep it over night. Not a problem, some issues are harder to find than others. Brought my vehicle back said they would let me know what they find. A couple weeks go by without a word. I call to check on status. Was told they had to take parts out and ship them out to get pressure tested. Again not a problem. Slightly annoyed I didn't hear anything after 2 weeks, but I am trusting the process at this point. A few more weeks go by with no news. I call again. They think they have it figured out. Wasn't it. A week goes by no call. I call again they FINALLY dropped the fuel tank and think they have it figured out. After 5 weeks I finally get a call and they want to know my warranty information. I give it to them. He calls back says I'll owe 100 dollars and the rest will be taken care of. Perfect, the part is ordered he tells me with the storms it might take a couple extra days to get here, again not a problem, I understand they cannot control the weather. 2 weeks go by and nothing. I call again. My part came in, but there are other cars in the bays that will be finished before mine. Ok, I understand they can't stop working on everything while they wait for my part to come in. Another week goes by nothing I call again. "I think we only have one cadi here so it must be yours it is on the lift and should be done today or tomorrow." Perfect, I call again after 5 days. "Your part isn't here yet, did we have that ordered?" Starting to get extremely frustrated. A total of 9 weeks went by and I finally get my car back. Good thing I bought a truck from them the day I took my cadi in or I would have been without a car for 9 weeks for a feul issue! Now the truck I bought from them needs transmission work after owning it just a couple of months. I will never work with this dealership again. I have talked to others with the same experience. For a small town dealership I would...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe only have GOOD things to say about Steve's Hometown Chevrolet. Specifically, we want to recognize, Nick (GM), Eric (Service Mgr.) and salesman, Jacob. We bought a 2023 3500 Sierra in March 2023. We have had 5 situations with a specific code, P11D5, related to emissions. We have had it in the shop quite extensively, some jobs were quick, one job they had to remove the dashboard, and stand on their heads to go over and above, literally for us! We had the light come on again, last week. We took it in and had many discussions about all of our options. We bought and unbought a brand new identical truck, except it was a 2025. Nick, was going to make us a wonderful, supreme deal....but, we backed out within 12 hours. There was no dirty looks, or mean comments, from them. Why? Because unlike other dealerships, they DO CARE about the customer. Yes, they really do. We found out from another GMC dealer, that buying a new truck won't fix our problem, because the problem is caused by my husbands driving pattern of the diesel truck. Diesel trucks are NOT meant for short trips, they are meant to be driven at least until it reaches its operating temperature of 210, then drive for at least 20 minutes. My husbands job is 2 minutes away, so basically M-F, he was putting more soot into his engine area, and causing a problem. We appreciate the honesty from the other dealer, and it was confirmed by Steve's employees. Long story short, we have decided to keep our 2023 GMC Sierra with only 18,000 miles on it, and make better driving patterns. So, today, my husband drove my little Honda CRV to work. Is he happy? Nope, but, will he do it, yep! If you want to buy a vehicle, from someone you can trust to sell you a vehicle that is decent, and then a service department that doesn't lie to you, come see: Jacob in sales, Nick as the GM, and Eric in service who will shoot straight with you. We did, and we will never deal with anyone else. I know this is long, but so much to...
