Probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I purchased a washing machine and was scheduled to have it delivered the following week. The day of the delivery arrived and I had to call to find out their ETA. They gave me an ETA of 9pm-1am. Who in their right mind would deliver at 1 in the morning? That’s my first complaint. The delivery people arrive at about 9pm. They knock a light off of my wall in the hallway to my basement and don’t hook my washing machine up correctly. I figured this out when I went to do a load of laundry and returned to find my basement floor flooded because they didn’t hook up the drain pipe. I didn’t think to check to see if they hooked it all up. I know nothing about appliances. So I call and speak to the manager who did me no help. I call back over a week later and speak to the manager again requesting to speak to the regional manager at this point. The regional calls me and is of no help either. Both are just filled with unsatisfying apologies and did nothing to help resolve the situation. I’m still without a working washing machine. It’s been a month. I am going to have a friend of mine attempt to hook it up correctly for me this weekend. I hate leaving negative reviews because I am also in management and like to give the managers time to resolve a situation with me before I jump the gun and smear the business name. However, I have never felt like such an under valued customer in my entire life. ABC Warehouse is a sore excuse for a professional business. I wouldn’t go back even if I could get everything half priced. Lousy management and they hire ignorant installation companies. Read moreThe ABC installer, whose name was Walt Plant, left a double oven box filled with long pieces of hard material that cannot be bent or broken. He was very well paid for the 45 minutes he spent here. All he had to do was slide the oven into the housing. It was very unprofessional of him to leave me a box of packing material. I mentioned to him while he was here that I have a bad back and this is what I get. Shame on you Walt Plant. I called ABC Warehouse and requested that someone come and get the box. John, the ABC person I spoke with, told me that he did not know why the salesperson didn't tell me that the box would be left. Shame on you ABC Warehouse. I learned a lesson. Don't shop at ABC Warehouse. Also, ask when I make a purchase if the delivery people will take the packing material.
I received a response (see below) from ABC. I called the number I was given. I was told by Rachael, that I called the wrong number. She offered to give me the number to the store and I declined her offer as I had already spoken with John, who Rachael says is the assistant manager at the store. I read the owner's message to Rachael. I have posted a picture of the box. I placed a 12 inch can in front of the box in order to give an idea of how big this box is. The box is full of packing material that can't be bent or torn up for disposal.
This review was initially one star. Today I am changing that rating to three stars. Yesterday someone from ABC Warehouse picked up the huge box. Read moreCan you give zero stars??? I had a couch delivered and the delivery staff left ripped cardboard in my driveway, scraped my porch, and broke my storm door. Worst part, they broke boards within the couch and ripped the leather. They said if I had a problem to call ABC Warehouse. So, I called ABC Warehouse. The manager Johnny offered to take $100 off if I "could live with it". I told him I wanted it picked up and gone. He said he would call me back when everything was arranged. I did not get a call back so I went to the store (30 mile trip one way). Johnny asked if their District Manager called me, obviously he had not (day one wasted). Johnny scheduled pick up for exactly one week away. I got an email the day pick up was delivered saying the pick up was cancelled. When I got home later that evening, there was a slip stating they tried to pick it up. I went to ABC Warehouse and spoke with another manager, Dan. Dan stated he had never seen an email saying such a thing. I provided him with the email and he said he "would look into it and get back to me". That conversation was five days ago and I have still not heard anything from anyone (day two wasted). They were scheduled to pick up their broken couch yet again one week later (which would be today) and I got another email saying they unfortunately have had to cancel. I will be calling again at 10AM when they open, but I'm not sure why, it never gets me anywhere (day three wasted). THIS STORE IS OBNOXIOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Want to return my calls now...
