Red Wok Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Fruitport Charter Township

Me and my brothers went to eat here after a long night. We went in the man that sat us down was nice but as soon as we sit down there 3 women (worker) talking very loud, angry and aggressive in their language. We ignored it. They obviously made people uncomfortable more than us in the restraunt. They had little to no selection of food. The man said he'd cook anything we needed but seeing how rude the women were we didn't feel comfortable to even ask. We ate. Mind you the whole time we were eating these same 3 women were what sounded like complaining when they got done doing something with the guest and when people would come in the restraunt. when it was time to pay the bill I gave one of the women my card as she took out plates. The check was for 62 alright cool I transfer my money into my account as I look at the check when the lady comes back she says very loud and rudely my card was denied and "this happens all the time" as if i was trying to get over on them or not gonna pay. This our first time ever here! So I transfer the rest of the money she was trying to charge me it was 3 dollars and some change and she acted like she didn't want to recharge my card. As I just reassured her that new amount was in the card. And then comes back nicely. I'm sorry but 65 and some change for horrible service , cold food and a horrible experience...

Great place. The food is absolutely amazing. The crab meat ragoons are the perfect mixture of cream cheese and crab meat (this is a huge decider for whether I like a chinese/asain restaurant or not). The staff is very very friendly and polite. The decor is astounding. I am baffled by the beauty every time I walk in. This is truly an amazing authentic place and I highly suggest going here to anyone even remotely intrested in chinese food. Even if you arent they have plenty of other more "american" food for more picky eaters. The sushi is always fresh unlike other buffets that will leave them out until they are gone no matter how long. So if you want nothing but sushi then look no further! When I eat here I always finish with ice cream! What better end to a perfect meal? Getting food to go is really cheap as well so even if you cant enjoy the environment you can still enjoy a reasonably priced meal (with lots of leftovers if you pack it as much as I do 😂). If there was one thing I could change it would be that sushi to go is expensive. A little over a dollar per piece. But with such good service it's worth the extra money.

Overall: if you haven't been here yet then you need to go. Like now. Right now. If you are still reading my review at this point then obviously you are tempted. So just go to Red Wok already and...

I enjoy Chinese food like anyone else but when I find bugs in my food and I kill it and show to management, all he said was " They fly through the windows." I was there on June 26 2018. I paid the bill for me and my Great-Grandaughter's food...$ 29.54. My card was charged that day and I watched the man run it 2 times and asked but he said it was there machine being slow. On July 5th they returned that amount to my card so I assumed either they made 2 payments by mistake or refunding for bugs being in my food. However,on July 17th 2018 they again charged me the same amount 29.54 like I had been there that day and I have not been there since June 26, 2018. It over drafted my card and the card people said that Red Wok forcebly took my money and they by them doing that they could not decline it..Since when can someone take your money by force? Card had to be stopped and a new one sent so Red Wok cannot charge my card again anytime they feel like it. Card holder is getting my money back, but mean time Red Wok is not a good place to eat. Bugs in food and your money taken by force multiple times from your card. We have ate there for years and nothing happen...now its bugs in food and extortion to people credit card..if u payed with a card, check your invoice...
