Throwback Tacos — Restaurant in Fruitport Charter Township

Okay, first off — it’s Mexican food, what’s not to love? Perfect for ALL occasions! Date night, family night, you name it — this place is the place to gooooo 🫶.

PHENOMENAL FOOD. I got the ultimate grilled cheese burrito and the birria quesadilla. THEY SMACK! The flavors and seasoning are top tier — I honestly don’t even know which one was better. The cheesy goodness of the burrito and the birria sauce were so yummy that every bite left me wanting just one more. 10/10 recommend. Shoot, even Gordon Ramsay would leave this place happy!

I just can’t get over how satisfied I am.

Service? 100000/10. Jose and his father run this fine establishment by themselves, and they make you feel truly appreciated. They have amazing energy, and you can tell they’re genuinely happy to be there! They go above and beyond to make sure you get your money’s worth and that everyone leaves happy. Jose even came outside multiple times to make sure I was enjoying my meal — that kind of customer service is such a rarity!

Between the food, the service, and the atmosphere?! GO GET YOU...

These are some legit tacos. I don't know of anywhere else in west Michigan that uses homemade tortillas. For me a the tortilla makes or breaks a taco and their tortillas were amazing. I tried the al pastor and carnitas tacos and both were incredible. The carnitas was flavor and a bits of crispy pork. The al pastor was juicy with a slight sweetness. The tostada was large and had a ton of toppings. They were very generous with the meat in everything. The refried bean were really good as well. They were very nicely seasoned. The only miss for me was the street corn. It was ok but it just had way to much mayo on it. With how good the tacos are, I can forgive that. Now for the service. This place isn't good refried beans taste like they came out of can ,meat is very salty and no flavor ,nothing special here had the burrito with everything and it was flat no roundness or fluff like other places tired the nachos another disappointment alot of chips but no meat cheese or toppings short changed at $14 for burrito &$13 for nachos i got ripped off these are facts... 7/18/25 nothing stands out here ,the sour cream is watered down and yes no flavor, I don't recommend i didn't try anything else on there menu , im from Holland and there's tons of restaurants over there with Mexican food so i know taste and quality of food nice trailer thou with lights...
