What a true surplus SHOULD be like... Came here on an outing with my daughter to purposely go to several surplus stores. So I could share with my daughter the things that I used and what represented me and my era of service. After two sores on our list of four we arrived at all American number 3 on the list. I was really disappointed with the first two stores, they both had a very small section of surplus items and a huge section of commercial marketed items. But not all American! This place is huge and it's kinda out of the way, sort of off the beaten path, there's no real air conditioning, but he has everything you can think of.!.!.! I am so pleased with the friendly service and the owner is very approachable, knowledgeable, and happy to help me find what I was looking for. On Jun 4th I walked into this place, purchased $145 worth of medals and patches for a shadow box I was building. They didn't have 2 medals that I needed so I ordered them for a total of $29.50. It was supposed to delivered to our house within 10 days tops. Well a month went by so I called several times and kept getting the run around about what the status was of the order. Finally I just went ahead and purchased what I needed online and got it within 5 days so I cancelled the order I had with these guys. The $29.98 was supposed to be refunded back to me as a check and delivered to my house because I couldn't get over there to pick it up. Well here it is the 28th of July and the check still hasn't even been sent out. This is by far the worst military surplus store I have ever dealt with in my 18 years in the military. I highly recommend shopping someplace else because the customer service here...

Hands down the best mil-surplus store I've been to. They have an amazing inventory of great stuff, and there's always something new or old that pops up thats worth a gander or buying. Fantastic service too from the staff that work here. For US servicemembers, I highly recommend checking this place out before having to buy certain ocie / TA50 from any PX, if they have it here, itll be a better price than from Clothing and Sales, guaranteed. AAMS has been a consistent and excellent vendor for any mil-surplus enthusiast, hobbyist, or even current military. I've been going here since 10+ years ago and it has always been excellent, neat stuff at reasonable prices. Lots and lots of different uniforms too. Will definitely be back for...
