Please stay away! Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have ever had. On November 9, 2023, I booked an appointment with Olivia Grimmich. Upon arrival, there was a wait, and despite it being my first time at the facility, it was assumed I was a returning customer. When placed in my room, I began asking questions, revealing it was my first time there. I was then told to get undressed and that Olivia would be in. This is when the experience went further downhill. I did not receive a lot of time to undress. I felt rushed and had to run to the seat to cover up. I expressed to Olivia that I felt discomfort and to bear with me during the session, but she did not seem to care. She disregarded my concerns about the wax temperature and proceeded with the treatment. Making matters even worse, she was heavy handed and rough, leaving me in pain. This was not my first wax, so I know what to expect. The result was unsatisfactory, I had to remove hairs and hard wax myself when I made it home. It was also hard to walk afterwards, and the area was very irritable, something Iāve never had to experience in my life. Moreover, at the checkout, Olivia stared at me, seemingly expecting a tip, despite the subpar service. A Groupon coupon for a lower price was used, so I felt almost compelled to leave a tip, but I still regret it. The healing process was a nightmare, and I have photos to prove everything I am saying is true. I tried calling to speak with a manager after the incident happened, but I was told she was busy and to call back another time. I was recommended here by a close friend, so it hurts to have received the service I did. I will not be returning, and I caution others to avoid this place unless they want a similarly unpleasant experience.
Edit: Thank you for your response. As mentioned above, I did reach out when the incident occurred, but did not get any luck. I can only speak on my experience. Nevertheless, my review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter visiting Brazil's Waxing Center for more than a year, this was the first time I had a terrible experience. On August 10, 2024, I arrived early and checked in at approximately 11:20 a.m. for my appointment at 11:45 a.m. Rebecca, the check-in clerk, called me to to take me to a room at 11:45 a.m. but then informs me that my account is inactive. I didn't know my account was inactive when I was sitting there for twenty-five minutes while I heard Rebecca making confirmation calls to people for the next day, and I forgot that I had been given a new bank card. I eventually make it to my appointment at 11:51 a.m. after waiting 10(+) minutes and reactivating my membership. I find it frustrating that my technician was now delayed and that the issue could have been resolved prior to my scheduled appointment time. Olivia, by the way, receives a perfect score of ten from me. Even though I only had one appointment scheduled with Olivia and another service with another, she ended up doing both of my services. Olivia deserves a huge shout out. Upon checking out, Rebecca was the only one available but asked me to wait while she escorted back another client. As she called this next client up she then informs this client that her membership was no longer active and that she needed to follow the same procedure as she had with me. In the end, I was checked out by the other clerk once she returned. Despite my love for Brazils Waxing Center, they require better front desk staff who can attend to customers there and throughout the day before worrying about those for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've gone here multiple times to have my eyebrows cleaned up and shaped. All of the technicians have always been kind and professional. Today, I made an appointment over the phone and drove to Brazil's office. When I arrived, I was notified they had updated their system and everyone needed to fill out new intake paperwork. The system was simple and quick. I noted on my paperwork my current medications and topical skincare products. A few minutes after I had completed the forms, the receptionist yells my name across the lobby (there were several other people in the lobby waiting area) and began yelling off my medications list and asked me to confirm if they were accurate. She then (continuing to yell all of this from behind her desk while I sat across the room with other clients waiting for services) yelled out they were canceling my appointment because of one of the medications I was on. To be clear, I completely understand and support Brazil having policies on what services they will or will not do based on a patient's medical background. I am not okay with my personal health and medical information being yelled in a public area. I then left and called my doctor to ask if there was any issue with me getting an eyebrow wax with the skincare I was on. She said there was no medical based basis for refusal of treatment. I went to a new wax center in Butler Plaza and made sure they were aware of everything I was taking or using on my skin before I came in. They were kind, professional and I received...
