Remix Market Gainesville — Local services in Warrenton

Though Remix has a nice selection of items, their customer policy is the worst. Remix gets paid to remove these items through Junk Luggers, they then proceed to sell items that are in good condition (making money at both ends). A small percentage of this is given to charity. That being said, they are non-negotiable, considering they didn't pay a wholesaler, and there are no returns as in most retail stores; this strikes me as very unreasonable. I recently went in search of a frame which was listed for $30, and had a 15% coupon. I was told the coupon was only for furniture. For $4.50 they have lost a customer. I proceeded to Habitat for Humanity, where ALL proceeds go to a good cause and found a similar frame for $10. PLEASE SUPPORT CHARITIES...

Edit: took off some stars because the prices are getting out of control here. I get it they aren’t a charity per se but they are making money off other peoples items so not sure why they have been pricing so high. Also, observing the way the person from this business responds to people’s reviews on both Facebook and google is very alarming, hostile, and unprofessional and a good way to scare people off shopping here.

I love this store!! The ladies working were so friendly and there was a really good, cute selection of both home goods, furniture, and clothing/accessories. I found the perfect couch but sadly it was a bit too big for my room which I was sad about. But all in all a really good shopping experience and I can’t wait...

Absolutely LOVE this store and the incredible employees. Arrived early for the mosaic glass class and found a Margaret Furlong ornament on sale for next to nothing! Also found two adorable tops for my sister. The store is neat, clean, organized, and inviting! The class....was unbelievable! Walked in thinking I would end up with something that would like like cat hairballs but with the guidance (and patience) of the instructors, made an amazing piece! This was the best money I have ever spent. Felt as high as a kite leaving after receiving so much encouragement. I don't normally frequent/enjoy thrift stores but this place is so much more!!! I will definitely take the other...
