Online, I told them that my laptop had gotten wet, that I had tried to clean it, and that it now would not turn on. I asked if they did component-level board repair, and they told me that they do component-level board repair. They also offered a free diagnostic. When I arrived, they took my laptop and then handed it back to me with the diagnosis of “liquid damage.” When I asked what was liquid damaged, they said the logic board. I asked them to please be more specific, and they said, “it’s just liquid damage, so it will be $500 to $800 to replace the logic board plus more if the keyboard also needs to be replaced.” I asked them about the component-level repair, and they said that someone comes by once per week to do that and takes the laptops, but given that they did not offer this to me as a service, I suppose that this is likely to the end of selling old broken laptops that they purchase inexpensively online. For the $800, I can purchase all of the equipment I could possibly need to complete the repair myself. The trip was a waste of time...

Above and beyond service! Craig, John and David are the most professional and honest people in this industry!!! I went there to sell my MacBook Pro for parts because I had been told somewhere else that my board was toast and it was $700 to fix!! I sold Craig my Mac for parts, but asked him that if they looked at it and it was something different to please give me a call cause I’d like to repair it. One day passed an Craig calls me telling me “if you want , bring me the money I gave you back and pick up your Mac, it’s an easy fix”. Turns out Apple is covering the cost of repairs because there was a recall!! The people at Impact Computer could’ve very well got it fixed for free and sell it for good profit, but instead their honesty and professionalism shined and they decided to let me get it back!!! I was referred to Impact by a friend who said that they'd always done him right, and that has definitely been my experience. These folks are genuinely honest-dealing, helpful, and just nice people to work with.

When HP was trying to screw me out of fixing my (still under warranty) laptop, I brought it to these guys. They could easily have taken my money and tried to fix it, but instead they advised me to keep pushing back against the HP people and even told me what to say. And they were right! HP eventually relented and replaced my laptop entirely.

They have worked on other equipment for me and I always feel like I can trust what they tell me. As they say, they "don't like to waste other people's money."
