Lowe's Market — Local services in Gainesville

High prices and VERY rude cashiers!!! Girl actually rolled her eyes because we went to her register and she had to get off her phone. I’ve read other reviews where people say that customer service is excellent. I shop at this market at least once a day. It’s near my house so it’s very convenient. 90 % of the time cashiers will not greet you or acknowledge a “thank you” from you at the end of transaction. I’m not an entitled person and do not expect a friendly conversation from everyone I meet. I do however expect a certain level of politeness. If you do not like your job in customer service. Please do everyone who’s having a good time in life a favor and do something else. Many who read this will think I’m probably the problem but I assure you I’m not. I still try every time I go in to have a positive interaction with the employees. There are however , two amazing employees that work there. If you shop here. Stopped by on my way to Denton to get a few snacks for later. Everyone was very friendly. They not long ago went digital on their sale ad. I'm very impressed. WAY TO GO... LOWE'S!!!

UPDATE: I STOPPED HERE AGAIN ON MY WAY HOME FROM GAINESVILLE! I HAVE TO SAY.. I'M STILL IMPRESSED! THEY'VE DONE ALOT TO THE STORE AND ADDED A FEW OTHER ITEMS I HADN'T SEEN BEFORE. ALSO.. THEY DROPPED ALOT OF SALE ITEMS DOWN TO A VERY MORE AFFORDABLE PRICE! GREAT JOB!

Just moved to Gainesville a few months ago and love going to Lowe’s over Wal-Mart. I love to support local businesses, the prices are very fair, the store is always neat and tidy and the are always friendly and go out of their way to say hello and ask how they may help us. During the past weeks when every other store and restaurant was closed Lowe’s was able to remain open and employees made it their highest priority to get to work so that the shelves could stay stocked and food and water was available to the people of Gainesville. I highly recommend Lowe’s Market any day of the week over any run of the mill chain grocery store. Five stars...
