We had placed an online order and went through the drive through to pick it up. We collect the items and went home. We noticed two items were made incorrectly. We are vegan and specifically order no meat and no cheese. We had rice and beans to replace those. When we got back to the drive thru, I told the cashier that two items were made wrong. She called for the manager, who I believe is named John but the window was almost closed when I heard her for him. He comes over and asks what was wrong. When I was explaining how the order was incorrect, he slammed the window in my face and walked away. After a bit,, he comes back and says that it was made "as ordered". I explained the vegan thing and pointed out that all other items had no meat or cheese either for that reason. He then says he needs EVERY item back to do anything. I explain that we had already ate two items that were made correctly. He says he can't do anything. I asked for his manager and he says that he is. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me saying, "I'm not obligated to give out my name." I told him that I was going to call and complain and he slammed the window again and walked away. after waiting a couple of minutes, he called the cops on us. On top of all of that, he kept the two items we had paid for. Night shift is a joke and they have no understanding of customer service/professionalism. I was upset, I called and someone named John answered the phone. I asked to speak to manager, he said it was him. I told him we didn’t get our food. He did say I come now it get the item we didn’t get. Problem is we just live to far away. But his attitude on the phone was horrible, no apology, nothing. I said no apology or nothing, and his response was, anything I else I can help you with? I said I would like to speak to your manager, his response was anything else I can help you with. I mean come on, he would not give me his last name. I asked if there was a general manager he said yes….Wuan and wouldn’t give me much more than that I asked. I've been eating at this taco bell for years, so much so that the staff knows me on a personal level. If I see them at Walmart doing some grocery shopping, we stop and say hi, have some small talk, and get back to our lives. These people have always been awesome and accomodating in great ways. Want a hash brown burrito with the hash brown on the side? Sure thing. Want that breakfast bowl with shredded cheese instead of nacho cheese because of heart burn? They got you.
Point is, I don't even know their names, but I've never had people try to get to know someone as well as they have. I could pick our their faces in a crowd they are so memorable.
