I've been eating here since the early 90s, and for the first time ever, I canceled my order and went across the street to Taco Bell. I ordered my same old order I've ordered a million times before... a super taco no meat. I'm a vegetarian and Gainesville is super limited on options for vegetarians. The girl says "No meat?" I tell her yes, I'll just have beans instead of the meat. She says "hold on, let me see if we can do that" I'm thinking she's probably new or something, no problem. She comes back and says "no, we cant do that" VERY RUDELY. I tell her I've always ordered that... thousands of times. Literally at least twice a week since I was a teenager in the 90s.. she pretty much makes me feel like a liar and offers me a taco. I tell her I don't eat meat. She goes silent and says her manager tells her they can put beans in a tortilla but not a hard shell??? Ok? What's the flippin difference? AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS LEFT THE MEAT OFF MY TACO WHEN ASKED FOR OVER 20 YEARS! Just everytime I go to that location anymore, they are so freaking RUDE. I told her I would just go across the street to taco bell, and she was cool with that... just thought you should know since it's obvious that no one has updated their Facebook page...

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO FOR RATING IF I COULD HAVE. Ordered a order over $30... Asked for bean only burritos received them with cheese after checking and opened all 3 burritos to confirm that they had cheese on them. I advised them order was incorrect and that we touched each one of them They remade the 3 bean only burritos but had 1/2 the beans on these new ones(very little beans on each) Then they served the 3 bean and cheese burritos to another customer even after t hey were aware we had opened and touch each burrito. Totally disgusting giving out food a customer has already opened and touched and then give it to another customer. I asked to speak with the manager who is suppose to be Chris NIGHT MANAGER to advise him of these issues plus 2 more.. He was to busy to come speak with me he just yelled from the area he was working at.(VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) I ADVISED HIM I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH HIM HE FINALLY CAME OVER AND SAID TO JUST CONTACT TACO CASA ON WEBSITES. THis place quality and Professionalism is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I will NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION EVER TOO ANYONE. BE WARE OF THEM GIVING FOOD TO YOU THAT OTHERS RETURNED AFTER OPENING AND TOUCHING THE FOOD! SO...

Retro, clean, good quality basic fast food Mexican. Went in for my first visit and was taken back to the 80s based on the color palette of the decor. Very clean and large dining room. The condiment and napkin counters were clean and stocked. I ordered a super burrito and spicy bean burrito to start. Both were hefty and tasted fresh and I didn't feel like I was being cheated like I do at the TB down the road. The bean burrito does not come with onions normally so I ordered another one with onions and with mild sauce. Much better. I also ordered a regular taco and it was good. The entire top of the taco was covered with fresh shredded cheese. Everything was excellent. Service was cool but efficient. They charge a 2.8% service charge on all orders and offer a discount for cash payment. This is a way to get around the law that prohibits charging extra for credit card payments. They even charge the service fee for debit cards which is not right. Otherwise great experience. No trash cans so you don't have to bus your...

My husband picked up dinner and realized when he got home that our Cheladas, Hot Sauce, and Jalapeños were missing. He drove back and I called the store. I spoke with the manager (an older female that's been in the industry for 34 years). She was extremely sweet She apologized profusely and was so genuine. She even found some Taco Bucks for a future purchase for our troubles. She personally made sure each item was delivered the second time which instantly made my husband happy. Thank you so much and if I can get the manager's name, I'll update my review. Customer service is difficult to navigate at times, but she's clearly an experienced professional!! Taco Casa, you better treat her right and pray she chooses to stay with you. 😁

I was greeted as I came in the front door by the smiling lady at the register. I ordered & got my Taco salad fairly fast, asking with my tea. Taco Casa has the BEST fresh tea!!!! I have never gotten old/stale tea at any of their restaurants.

I love their pickled jalapenos! We live in Houston area so taco casa is a treat when we head up north. Love the crispy tacos and tostadas are great and so is the price. We always make a stop when traveling in taco casa territory!
