EDIT: I was correct. Northside Forsyth just called me and said it wasn’t cancelled. Then they transferred me to someone else who confirmed. Both were rude and wouldn’t confirm they would cancel it.
EDIT: Their office started calling me and hanging up after I called the main hospital. Screenshot provided. I called back and they denied it but wanted to ‘talk’. Nope. Harassment is off putting.
EDIT: Now someone is hanging up before I can answer, more harassment and another screenshot.
I used to prefer Northside to NEGA and drive there from Gainesville—no more. These people are crazy.
Floored at the phone pile on and want / deserve access to the recording.
I tried to get the original offender’s name who made a big show for people on the other end of the phone to make it seem like it was ‘me’, but it’s recorded. I hate it because I love Northside Hospital system so far, but the Gainesville office here is no different.
I’m the patient—they are getting paid. It’s appalling, just beyond.
And then this guy gets on at the end and starts saying that I won’t let him talk (my complaint, I’m the patient) but all he says over and over is that I am ‘calling into question his 22 years of experience working there’. And, that he can give me a phone number that anyone can get and still requires an account number. Make it stop.
I said over and over…if you won’t listen to me, you can take two seconds and Google the hospital’s own new form for it and got vulgar retorts like, ‘we don’t have to do what you say’ (even though it would have resolved the dispute once and for all) especially from Mr. 22 Years — and he would not even give me an email address to send their own form to them to show them. And Northside’s financial aid counseling number goes straight to voicemail and they won’t call you back (per the message) unless you provide an *account number.
This one lady kept saying ‘just hang up then just hang up then if you don’t like it’…!!!
I was on hold a disingenuous amount of time between the first call and her and I said this is illegal in law enforcement because it’s called ‘getting your story straight’.
After all that they were like acting like I was still gonna come there for my appointment. I had to officially cancel later because I know that lady would have billed me if she could for missing it.
Delusional and immature—apparently the whole office because Mr. Top Brass said I spoke to all of them.
Didn’t need to, didn’t ask to. If the buck stopped with Mr. 22 Years, the call should have gone straight from the original offender to him.
I was trying to explain to them that a lot of employees at Northside have been giving me misinformation (more like outdated information) without realizing it because the financial aid system has been updated.
They were trying to tell me my financial aid (which they claim pays for everything) hadn’t gone through and I was trying to explain to them that’s because their own financial aid system had changed in the past few months and that it was transitioning to more like a Medicare system now than Medicaid and that it was now going to involve co-pays and such and that you couldn’t get into the financial aid application anymore unless you already had a $5000 bill. And the application requires a billing code to even in.
By the way, I also have a doctorate in health science from a good school, in public health. Did I feel the need to mention that to any of them? No.
I have attached images of the only application for Northside financial assistance that exists today. It has changed.
You need an account number just to log into it, as you can see it rejects my one bill from the Neurologist who agreed to work with me while it processed.
I have highlighted the distinction as well as the part where you need a Northside account or bill now before you can even apply.
That is what people are directed to after being directed to create an account in...
Read moreWent here for a scan on private pay. Was told there were several payment options, one being 75% off if I paid the remaining balance that day. Fine, I did that. Then the gal stated the radiologists reading would be a separate fee but they also honor the 75% discount and when I received their bill, make sure they have the paperwork I signed on file. Told me up front, most times they do NOT locate the paperwork and will bill the the full amount. But I can fax my copy offer to confirm the discount offered. Low and behold, I got the bill, called the number on the bill and the hell began.
First off, let me say, you are most definitely calling a call center out of the country. You can barely hear the person you are speaking to with all the others talking simultaneously in the background. I explained the situation, offered to email or fax my copy of the papers I signed and was told, "no, we don't participate in the same discount program. We can offer 65% or pay the full amount. What kind of scam is this? I was assured at the facility that this discount translated to the interpreter services as well. It's a shell game. Don't do business with these people. As you can see by other reviews, their billing practices are a mess. I will NEVER use Northside for...
Read moreI have been afraid to have an MRI for 30yrs! I am a large woman and small spaces cause me panic. I went here due to back issues needed an MRI. They have a wide bore MRI machine that had plenty of room for this 240lb gal. The tech had me laughing, they played my favorite music and it only took 20 min! I actually had a good time and Mike had me laughing and explained every step, when sounds were going to change, and how much longer it would be. I felt so safe and comfortable!! I was literally cheering in my car on the way home! Best...
