I must have printed at Target Copy Gainesville over a hundred times prior to May 15, so I know what to do. Almost always, my experience has been great. The associates usually go over and beyond to take care of their customers. I may not have left a positive review for Target Copy on any of those instances. So, please deem this review so far as a resounding appreciation for this business. However, this morning was a completely different and terrible experience.
After definitely sending the document to the printer and confirming it via the printer queue, it did not print. Instead of looking into the matter, the younger associate with the beard blamed me for prematurely ejecting the charge card and not sending the print request correctly. Upon his direction, I logged into the computer one more time and issued a similar request to the same printer but met with the same result. The print queue now showed two records for the same document and the printer as offline. How was that my problem? Upon showing the problem on my screen, the rude associate kept repeating that he didn't see any printed documents in the tray, instead of checking what really happened, and adding that he didn't know what was happening. When I sent the request to another printer upon his mumbling, it of course outputted the hard copy. A second, somewhat older and more experienced associate checked the printer and determined that the printer was still warming up. Again, was any of that my problem?
I was hoping that the associate would waive off the computer usage charges ($1.40) as a simple courtesy and charge me only for the print copies ($0.41). Nope! He charged me the amount for using the machine not just the first time but also the second. There were no apologies for the inconvenience caused due to their equipment. When requested for charging only for the first usage, he replied that the charges are not duplicate.
The amount in question is very small. That's not the crux of this review. The essence here is, the Target Copy Gainesville associate provided an extremely bad customer service and made it seem normal. Hopefully, the store would train this associate on how to deal with customers or otherwise replace him with someone else with...
Read moreOn Dec. 8th, my husband and I came into your store to purchase Apples Air Tags. We were then going to purchase some other gifts and groceries. We went to the Electronic section of store. There was only one clerk, Charles, available. At the time he was in a lengthy conversation with a woman trying to get Goggle to speak to her thru her phone. This conversation had been going on for some time.
We stood close by after trying to find the product. We were never recognized by a smile, a nod or any jester at all. We were quiet, waiting for a break in their conversion, still never being recognized in any way, and I said, Please excuse me, but could you tell us where the Air Tags are located. Charles looked at us as if we had just appeared and pointed out, that they were right in front of us…hanging within our site. We thanked him, and went forward to check the product out. He is still talking to the woman about Goggle.
We then went back to standing where he could see us. He is still talking about Goggle to the lady. The lady was very nice and spoke to us. Not Charles. Knowing it is hard to get help, I hate reporting on Charles. But he pointedly ignored us and our presence. All we wanted was to be noticed and be aware to Charles that we still needed help. Finally after the woman left and we looked toward Charles, and he turned his back on us and went to assist a young man who had just sat down at his register. He was obviously was not going to help us at all. So we left and went to Best Buy.
We both worked in an industry where customer service was top priority. Being ignored is not good customer service. Have waited on this for two days but just felt it was needed to be said. People aren’t very nice to others right now and his in-action and rudeness has bothered me. This is the second event of not very nice treatment in your store. But that was the week before and has been forgotten. My daughter, in Winter Garden, shops, always, in her Target. We don’t. Sincerely,...
Read moreTarget is known as the store where aesthetically pleasing home decor embodies financial preservation. Delightful professional photos of ethnically diverse family’s line the areas where the walls meet the ceilings. Aromatic delicacies float wisp through the isles from the in house Starbucks with a presence that is reminiscent of when Scooby Doo and Shaggy would smell a delicious meal and be swept off their feet. Our mission today was to locate and secure scented candles with a gift card a friend gave us for Christmas. The gift card bore the friendly and familiar face of Bullseye: targets signature bull terrier. The contents of the card were an impressive $20. After wandering the maze of tasteful home goods we stumbled upon our section. A plethora of flavors for every occasion. We were welcomed by a delightful woman named Sydney. She spotted us struggling with our final decision as she stocked shelves. She glided towards us with a warm grace I suspect the late queen Elizabeth carried (Rest in Peace). A true connoisseur; Sydney was able to navigate our pallets directly to the scents we desired. Pleased with our experience we wished Sydney farewell and commuted to the check our isle. Although the lines were long; lane 7 moved At ludicrous speed. When we finally reached our merchant we were shocked by the capability and intellect displayed by a young lass named Dianne. Dianne checked us out, scanned our bullseye card, AND wished us a happy new year. These two employees put the team on their back and helped my fiancé and I feel victorious on our evening visit. That guy Zach in the parking lot...
