Relish - Big Tasty Burgers! — Restaurant in Gainesville

Yesterday evening my husband and I along with my Son and Daughter in law went in to eat. We arrived around 8:45pm. We had 2 others ahead of us. Waited in line for toppings by this time it was 9pm. While in line they ask to go or dining in. I replied dine in. The girl at the stove cooking replied Umm! You have to leave by 9:30pm. I said well then we can eat outside. She said again that until 9:30pm. I said there’s no way we don’t even have our food yet. By this time there was another group that came in of 6 people. I asked since they would Obviously still be cooking if then we could eat outside. She told me to do whatever I wanted but at 9:30 we had to leave because she would be sending one of the others to clean. Still waiting on food at 9:15, I walk outside to wipe off a table and sat down. My husband then followed. We started to unwrap food and then my son walked out and said the girl was watching us and she told the other people in there to keep an eye on the clock and at 9:30 have us leave. We got up and went to the back of my truck to eat our meal. When I open my burger I noticed she didn’t put the egg or bacon on it which was actually the only 2 toppings I asked for., no condiments. So I went back in and told her that she didn’t put anything at all on my burger. She told me to wait off to the side and she would get it made. A few minutes later she handed me a box with egg and bacon and told me to have a nice day. I told her I would never eat in there again. She said that fine. Can’t believe the service in there and I’m guessing she was in charge because she was calling all the shots and the other 2 apologized a few times about her...

First time here and had a weird experience. When we walked in, we had no clue where to go or what to do. The cooks behind the counter were cooking but no one said anything to us. We go up to the register for someone to take out order and no one came over to us. We waited a good bit but nothing. I noticed the screen was turned around so I thought, oh maybe we do it ourselves? So I started pressing buttons and then someone hurried over and told me I couldn't do that. I explained to him it was my first time there and had no clue, no one said anything to us, so we just assumed it was self serve. He brushed it off and told me he would be right with us. I think there were only two people working and it seemed they were both juggling the register and cooking. The guy who took our order was quiet and couldn't hear me. Finally placed our orders, got our food, and seated ourselves outside.

Burger was above average- very delicious. Loved the fact you could pick however many toppings you want. The bun was okay to me, but my husband loved it. The fries sucked. They had seasoning you could put on them by the soda fountain, but if I'm being honest, I couldn't taste the seasonings either so it didn't do much for me. Curry ketchup was interesting and had a...

First time at this place. Stood at the front door behind 3 people, and thought we were in line. Waiting for nearly 15 minutes, all while getting stares from the 3 employees, but NOT 1 said a word to us. I finally asked the 3 people ahead of they had all placed their orders, they all said yes… so we move to the register to order and pay. And again getting looks and snickers bc we didn’t realize what we needed to do. Place an order for a single and a turkey burger. Watched the 3 employees with the personalities of a door knob just star into space. I said to my friend, just wait I bet it’s going to take a while bc they still haven’t dropped down the onion rings to cook. After about 15 minutes, got called to pick up our burgers, I go to take a bite of my turkey burger and there is literally not piece of meat in the burger! Go up to tell them and the cook said “I know, I’ve got yours still cooking” I’m still waiting, almost 30 minutes later for my turkey burger. My friend is already done.
