Without a doubt, the worst dining experience of my 84 year old life. Should have left when we walked in for breakfast and the smell was less than inviting, but there were outside tables so we decided to order & eat outside. Two parties ahead of us, and we expected a little wait, but time drug on and there was considerable confusion with what the menu meant, so it took almost 15 min before we had our order in and moved aside to wait. About 15 min later a server brought our order, apologizing that it wasn't what we ordered so they had substituted. I gave him one item back and told him there was not a satisfactory substitute & to give me my money back for that. After waiting another several minutes only to see him go on about his business without dealing with our rejection in any way, we sat down and ate the remaining food, which was at best OK. We left an hour after our arrival without having had any further interaction with the staff. Unless you are looking for a good reason to get an ulcer, I recommend that you do NOT patronize this unappealing & frustrating restaurant.

Please note the corporate response below in which they ask me to let them know THE LOCATION and WHAT HAPPENED. This review is attached to a Google MAP of the precise location and I think that I was pretty clear in my review above as to the sequence of events. What does that say about Cracker Barrel management, who is the actual owner...

Honestly I was really excited to try this place but it ended up not really being my favorite. I ordered a fritaffle which is basically a cast-iron baked omelet. I wanted to get the pepper and onions one but they were out of both pepper and onions. The meal was okay, it definitely wasn’t anything amazing and it was also not nearly enough food considering the price. It also came with hash browns that were not really that good. My friends ordered the biscuits and they liked them a bit more than I liked my food, but they seemed kind of hard to eat. My friend also got the mocha company and it was really good. As for the service and atmosphere it wasn’t the best. There was a long line when we got there, we waited around 15 minutes to order. The lady that took our order was rude and did not even address us first asking what we would like to order. The main issue with the service though is that the food took 45 minutes to come out. It was a Sunday morning, but I expected the food to be a bit quicker considering it is not a sit down restaurant. Overall it just seemed chaotic in there like they were understaffed or something. They had ran out of a lot of items. The tables weren’t clean and I didn’t see anyone attending to cleaning the whole time we were there. I probably wouldn’t go back here, it wasn’t awful but there are definitely much better brunch places in...

I wholeheartedly recommend Maple Street Biscuit Company at Butler Plaza, and would definitely come back anytime! TLDR: delicious food and top-notch customer service.

I have visited this establishment twice this week. First time was on a weekday around 10:30am, and today (Saturday) around 1:10pm. I ordered Chix Waffles both times, and Fried Green Tomatoes on the weekday. Food was delicious both times, although it was marginally better on Thursday morning since the restaurant was quieter (maybe 10 costumers). On Saturday, there were definitely a few hiccups with wait times during the lunch rush (restaurant was pretty full, maybe 50 people?), with a few customers having waited over 30 mins for their food. Despite the wait and customer demands I overheard, the staff was always super cordial and attentive. Everyone in the kitchen seemed to be working hard and working together (with a positive attitude!) to get the orders out. Another cute thing they did was ask for favorite superhero or supervillain as the order name. I even got a complimentary fresh-squeezed orange juice (delicious!) for the wait (which was around 20 mins by then) along with my meal, and later when they realized they made my order twice, the manager insisted I take it home too. Seriously, this was a great experience and amazing food despite the hiccups....

I remember when this place first opened and Trevor and Troy were running this location. I wish they still did, because the standard has really gone down. I stopped by here with my mom for a little breakfast date and we were so sad and disappointed. They no longer have the sweet potato fries which used to be our favorite side to share. I got a squeaking goat, and I was so sad with the tiny amount of pepper jelly that was on it. I ended up asking for a side of pepper jelly. The chicken portions used to be worth the price they are charging, but it isn’t anymore. My mom ordered fried green tomatoes and a side of chicken (she isn’t a big biscuit person). The picture is how much breading there was just on the chicken… 30$ for two drinks, one sandwich, one piece of chicken, and four slices of fried green tomatoes is pretty ridiculous. Not to mention the cashier had her back to the door, and was too busy on her phone to realize me and my mom had walked in. Everyone who used to work here smiled and greeted you as soon as you walked in, but it is the opposite now. Next breakfast date my mom said she wants to go to Cracker Barrel.

Absolutely fantastic food!! I would have liked the Gawking Goat Biscuit to double up on the goat cheese. It would be great to keep all the food the same temperature when serving. The pepper jelly was cold and the biscuit was "warmish", the chicken was hot and the goat cheese was warm. It was the same situation with Hubbys Farmer Biscuit, the cheese wasn't melted, apple butter was chilled and the Chicken was hot but the biscuit was warmish. Maybe this is how they intend it? Several coffee pots were empty, as was the creamers. Bathroom caution>>>>>>> Always lock both locks on the bathroom doors- apparently the door knob one doesn't lock when you push it in. I actually opened the door on a lady. One of the lady's working there told me about the locks being this way, (as though they always were this way) on both bathrooms, when I stepped back real quick from opening the door. If an employee is aware then they should make it known and it should have been repaired already. There are 2 Restrooms..no male and no female..so be cautious. Great looking eatery, deco is really cool and seating is comfy and plenty of it!
