Went to this Verizon yesterday, Sunday. There was only 1 other customer in the store & we were told we would be helped shortly. After about 10-15 minutes a lady came from the back room & asked what we needed. We advised we were there to upgrade a phone. She then had us give access to the account through our phone. After this she tried to sell us on streaming subscriptions even though we said no thank you 4 times. When we finally got to review the phone we wanted to purchase, we were told in order to purchase a phone we had to do an online mobile order & she would go wait in the back for it to come through. We waited in the lobby about 15 minutes before she came out & told us to see if we needed to do anything else because the order hasn’t came through. After being there for an hour & this lady saying our account was flagged for fraud & she wasn’t able to help us we went to the Verizon on Henderson street. The lady there quickly called the fraud department which they then told us that the lady at your Verizon made changes to our account before placing the mobile order which is what caused the issue. Your store never offered to call the fraud department & assist, even though your store is the reason the fraud glass was raised. Luckily the Henderson street Verizon is customer focused & they were able to upgrade our phone with no issues & didn’t leave us sitting by ourself in the lobby wondering what...
Read moreI made a special trip to town, just to go to Verizon. I appreciate the precautions taken for our current covid situation, but I don’t completely understand or agree with it. I was met at the door, which was fine. I only saw 2 workers (one behind the desk and the one that met me.) I was asked my needs which were I was having some data issues, wanting to know how to save things for upcoming changes and possibly look for a new phone. I was told they are by appointment only. It was a Friday and the earliest they could get me in was the following Monday afternoon. I questioned why I couldn’t be helped now when no one was there. Was told appointment would be coming. I commented on the store being huge and 2-3 customers could be helped easily with a safe 6 feet distance. My gut feeling is they just didn’t want to help me and would rather I go online. I prefer to have in person help. Seeing and listening is better for me. We have given this store a lot of business over there the last 15+ years. I’m very disappointed at...
Read moreI don't often go into carrier stores as many have a clear goal of sales and aren't the most personable. I've had tons of issues going into going into the "Verizon Authorized" stores in the past which this isn't one. This location has been a pretty phenomenal experience for me over the years. They genuinely do what they can to fix issues with devices. While they are sales people they aren't pushy and in your face about buying. When you do want to buy they are great at helping, answering questions, and offering great deals. Most recently we had an issue with setup of a family members phone purchased through Verizon online so we brought it in. They tried to solve the issue and ended up simply exchanging the phone for an identical model. While we were figuring that all out everyone there was super personable and carried on about Thanksgiving plans and family games they were planning on playing and had recommended to us. It was a genuine and great experience in store that really stuck out to...
