Food wasn't horrible, but the first time I went it took well over 20 minutes, and it was during a MUCH slower period. About 7:30 in the evening.
Both the first and the second time I went, the food, especially the burgers were not hot at all. Most people say "cold" but, the meat was luke warm, probably around 85 degrees, by the time we were able to eat it.
Not to mention the place is staffed with kids that have not been trained well... And I don't mean on how to make food and use the register. I mean on how to interact with the public. They talk to people like they are a bother.
To any local BK managers who may be reading this: When I was a kid growing up, I worked at 3 different quick service restaurants. I saw different workers and how they treated customers, and I know it's not hard to put on a friendly face. Dealing with the customer is a mindset, and something a kid has to learn fast, or he doesn't learn at all.
The kids with the "I don't wanna be here" attitude should be dropped immediately. The hard workers that may not be the best at customer relationships, stick them in the back. Put your nice, polite, decent, and smiling faces up front, even if it takes them a bit to learn the screens and menu. If you don't have nice, polite workers, fire the ones you do have, and get new ones.
Why? Because, I don't care if you are McDonalds or Olive Garden. People WILL NOT GO where they don't feel welcome. And with most of the kids up front, you are losing customers. This town has waited a LONG time for BK to come back, and right now you are only busy because of that. When the nostalgia wears off, your clientele will go where they are comfortable. Welcomed = comfortable. Summed up? WORK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE...
Oh, and turn up the damn heat on your staging racks or whatever is keeping your burgers hot. Or don't have them sit for so long. There is no reason for "flame broiled" beef to be served at under 120 degrees.
Signed, Someone who knows what they're...

I enjoy having a Whopper from time to time, however this location is constantly perplexing. In the half dozen times I've been to the location they've been out of pickles at least 3 times, given me half frozen, extra crispy/burnt, and/or unsalted fries, and they're consistently out of at least one add on item.
Today the customer service at the first window was great, the second was practically non-existent. I sat at that window waiting to see someone and listening to everyone call out what they're missing for orders. Someone finally comes to the window to ask me what I ordered, so I tell them and they disappear again. Once I get my food I find that my regular Whopper is warm all the way through, veggies and all (too hot). The special made one is fine (just right), and the fries are half-cooked (too cold). I take them back and exchange them for extra extra crispy, unsalted fries (too hot x 2). I didn't go back a third time.
I've never had anything like this happen at other locations. When they do have everything in stock and make your order correctly it's good, so two...
