Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Galesburg

I am giving a 5 star rating to this place because it has been my husband and I go to stop since they opened. We have our favorite waitresses Terri being one of them.

I even had my 30th birthday party there.

But today I experienced the most upsetting thing I have ever experienced at BWW. A waitress named Stephanie who I have never saw there before was so incredibly rude.

My husband and I work together. Almost every single day. We do everything together so sometimes we like to take time and catch up on news and social media. Especially since we have 6 children, sometimes we don’t ge to do that.

The waitress asked me if we were having a nice conversation since we can’t get our noses out of our phones!!!!! I am NOT joking!!!! Then when my husband responded that we were talking she says “ talking to each other on your phone?”

I was prompted to leave. I wanted to. I was so upset that she was this way I was speechless. My husband did not want me to do this and persuaded me to stay and be chill. Which normally I am not when people are rude.

My husband and I always go there for lunch it’s usually our go to spot and we always check our phones then conversate about what we read while we eat.

She’s sucks as a waitress and I really hope she does...

Update: the chicken strips and wings were undercooked and raw inside and we'd asked for the strips to be well done. We took them home to cook them but they weren't good. The waitress who didn't refill our drinks, didn't ask about our only eating the fries. She had really long nails so cleanliness was also a concern. We ordered the lunch special, paid and left. When we got hoke we noticed we were charged full evenings price.

There is really no excuse for any of this. The food was brought to us within a few minutes of ordering. The outside was crispy which meant the oil was hot enough buy they didn't let it cook long enough. It was not busy .

Very expensive for what it is but the wings are good if you ask for them well-done. They have an extensive beer menu as well. Fries are good but the salads feel packaged. Theist time we got celery and carrots with our wings, the celery was half rotten and the carrots dry. I'd skip them. There are a lot of options for sauces. If you don't like anything too hot, stop at honey BBQ, which has just a tiny bit of spice. The...

Very disappointed. Went in on a busy night wanting to have a meal. The host..I think it was the manager was seating people. We asked how long of a wait it was. He said maybe "40-45 minutes..if even then... We might not be able to seat you at all.". "We have people in here that are here to watch the fight and when that happens they will be here for hours...so we don't know when or if we can seat you"....as he said that there was a small table was leaving...why couldn't he have sat us there and let the people that were waiting to be seated to watch the game wait til we left...the fight was not to start for an hour and we would have been done by that time...WOW turning away customers just because some people want to watch a fight or game. I like their food but never have had a good experience there. ALWAYS so loud I leave with a headache. Or the waitress staff not very attentive...maybe because I don't drink alcohol. WOW just disappointed. Don't know if I will even TRY...
