This place is absolutely great. It’s a hidden gem. From the sliced bacon to the steaks, everything is good. You have to try the pre-made hamburger patties. They are delicious. Customer service is wonderful as well. It took me back walking through the turnstile when entering the building. We take a Motorhome trip to Galveston every year and can’t wait to visit this store. Walt’s burgers are fabulous, the pressed ham has the flavor and texture I remember from my childhood, the smoked turkey legs are delicious, and I love that I can buy just a few slices of bacon.
