I was craving fresh coconut, so I searched for a place that had it and found this market - not too far from where I was staying and seemingly the only spot offering it. It turned out to be a great find! The market sells a variety of local produce, and the atmosphere feels authentic and welcoming. The beautiful lady working there was incredibly kind and helpful, patiently answering all my questions about Saipan and its local food. She was such a graceful and warm person, and I’m truly grateful to have met her. Thanks to her, I also got to try apigigi, a traditional snack, which was a wonderful experience. The price of the coconut was very reasonable, and if needed they offer to open it on the spot, so you can enjoy it right away. If you’re looking for fresh coconut, want to explore local produce, or try a traditional snack, I highly recommend visiting this market! Thank you πŸ€—

One of my favorite places in the island as it provides fresh and seasonal local veggies and fruits. Coconut juice is also cheaper than other vendors. Avoid processed food but buy and support local! You are what you eat :)
