There have been many improvements since I last visited this area years ago but the area is very clean and accessible. There are ramps for wheelchairs and two small parking areas on each side. You can also park at Garapan Central Park area too. The two shrines are still maintained and nice to visit. There are covered seating areas and small businesses here. It is an amazing place to host an event and a nice, smaller outdoor venue versus the outdoor AMP amphitheater or the AMP indoor area. This place is a good area to walk around with kids to explore, have a little picnic or swing on the swings. No pets allowed and no flower picking allowed. For more information on hosting events here, you would need to contact the Saipan Mayor's Office... but on any other day, you can go inside the little park area.

I love the New look of sugar king, the lights and the tables. And guess what?! RJ pizza is located in the same area🥳😇 great place to hangout and photo shoots too. Although it's missing its vanilla scented botanical garden.. sigh. Sugar king remains a tourist and local stop.

This place is very good for a day time/night time walk. If you like a japanese culture like Japanese Jinsha or World War II, this is the only place in Saipan which bring some mixed emotions. Imperialism and Capitalism, etc.
