I went to this cafe with a group of 6 friends, and our experience was disappointing from the start. We walked in, took a seat, and while we were settling in, I glanced up at the counter to check the menu. I noticed the owner, a Korean man, giving us a cold, unfriendly look. I took that as a sign that we should order, so I told my friends weโd go ahead and order our drinks.
Four of us were ready to order, but the other two werenโt feeling like getting anything. After two of us ordered from a kind female worker, the owner suddenly started yelling at me from behind the counter. He was accusing us of bringing in outside food and drinks, which was confusing because we hadnโt brought any food, and the only drink on the table was my friendโs nearly empty water bottle. I asked if he was referring to the water bottle, and he said yes, telling us that weโd have to buy water from them if we wanted to hang out. I immediately apologized and told my friend to put the bottle away.
While our drinks were being made, we could hear the owner yelling at his worker, though I couldnโt understand what he was saying. After we got our first two drinks, the worker kindly informed us that if we wanted to stay, everyone in our group would need to order. We understood the unspoken rule, but the owner's attitude completely ruined the experience. His behavior was rude, immature, and completely uncalled for. This was the first time Iโve ever felt unwelcome at a cafe in Saipan.
For a small business, customer service is everything, and the owner failed miserably in this area. A simple, polite explanation of the rules would have been fine, but the way he handled the situation made it clear he doesnโt understand how to treat customers. Needless to say, we left and donโt know if we would come back. Such a shame as I have also been a loyal and consistent customer, even handing in a full stamp card when I made...

Drinks tend to come out a bit slowly when there is a sudden influx of orders, but that's understandable considering how there are only one or two staffs at a time. The staff I've encountered are all friendly and helpful, and the owner even more so when he comes around. Parking lot may get full since there's a restaurant next door (same building, sharing a parking space), but you might be able to find parking at the church parking lot...

I love coconut and it's not too sweet and syrupy. The strawberry lemon smoothie is very fresh tasting. They offer a punch card. Once stamped 7 times, you get $4ish off your...
