Jennifer from Adventure K-9 is by far the best trainer I have ever experienced. She is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. Her commands are easy to work with and understand. Her follow up is excellent. After bringing home our very energetic English Springer Spaniel puppy, Lucy, almost 5 years ago it was clear to my husband and I that we needed help. I interviewed several group facilities and individual trainers in the area and did not feel confident with any options until I spoke with Jennifer. I immediately knew she was the one!! After an in home consultation we proceeded with training for both us and our puppy. She uses positive based training and is very patient. At 16 weeks old we sent her to the master dog program. The results were amazing! Our crazy Lucy transitioned into a well mannered, eager to please canine citizen in 2 weeks. Clearly the best decision we could possibly have made for our family. Almost 5 years later our girl still knows her commands, is well behaved, great with dogs, cats, and very gentle with children. Lucy absolutely loves Jennifer and is always excited to see her. Adventure K-9 should be on the top of everyones list when looking for dog training. The services they have provided us with have been outstanding!!! They make it easy by picking up and dropping off the pups. They work with your dog all day then after two weeks they trained us to on how to do everything, each week we would have check in with the trainer. We put Summer in when she was 16weeks in the Master Dog lll. Amber was assigned to Summer, Amber did an excellent job, she was knowledgeable and gave great direction to my husband and I when we met. She was wonderful and quick with a solution to help with what we would be going through at home. Also, everyone that we had contact during the training was friendly and you could see how they love these animals. Two weeks ago I felt like I was mourning the end of the program because every morning Summer so happy to go and she was able to get all her energy out during the day while she was being trained as they socialized her with all the dogs, it was great to be able to have somebody help with training that truly loved your animal. I believe this program has made us be able to enjoy the puppy stage even more because the training she was getting at Adventure K-9. I honestly can’t say enough great things about our experience. We adopted a six month old German Shepard mix with a lot of anxiety and probable past abuse. We were initially unsure about signing up for four weeks vs two but those last two weeks made all the difference. Our dog needed help, patience and time and we did too! Jennifer and Chase were so kind and understanding as we all struggled a bit in the beginning with consistency. We learned so much about dog behavior (and we have owned several dogs) but this is the first time we paid for professional training! It was an investment and it has made EVERYONE in our household happier and calmer. Now it is up to us to continue to be consistent.
