Overland Park Shopping Center — Local services in Garden City

Just visited one or two stores for a few minutes. Did not visit Outback Steak House. There was a small hole-in-the-wall clothing/tailoring store that appeared to be a family business. An older patriarch type gentleman helped figure out what size dress shirt I should buy, including a proper fitting collar and sleeve length. Then a younger gentleman who I concluded was his son, helped me make the purchase and showed an impressive array of suits, ties, shoes and accessories. There were a variety of other shops available, including a gun store, and a low-price movie theater showing recently released movies that have lost a bit of luster at the big money chains like REGAL or AMC, etc. For example the live-action version of Alladin, or the latest version of Midway. And they only charge a couple of bucks for admission. (Maybe they make up for it by charging regular prices for concessions) I hope to check out that...

D&B supply has a great yard and garden section and great for pet food.

If you want to have some fun, All About Games is there and you can pick up board games, wargames, and role playing games. Behind them, is OPC movies to catch a "cheap" movie... though, I would call it a movie at a great value.

The discount supermarket is good to stop in to from time to time, too. Though, I generally only stop there when going to one of the other places above. There are obviously other shops, but those are the ones I go to. I don't think there is any other shopping center in the valley that...

Overland Park cinema is a great cheap theatre you can afford to take the whole gang to! All About Games is a great locally owned shop with many choices(we like the downtown location as well). They are open late and have gaming groups. They also use 5 star. I love D and B in this newest location for all sorts of things. I wish they were open later. If you are a wood crafter at all everything you could possibly need is at Woodcrafter and they are really nice and helpful, some of the best customer service in town!
