We went to edwards for a nice time & to watch a movie we wanted to see, knowing that this place is over priced in all areas of there service. We went into the movie theater and our seats where taken by a older couple so we just sat in other seats, instead of having them move. Well us being 61 years old ourselves, we where sitting there then younger gals came in and where looking for there seats, they Told people behind us that they where in there seats, made a big scene about it, so these people starting checking there tickets and told them they where wrong, well it ended up we where in there seats and told us to move, we told them older couple in front of us had ours and there are plenty of empty seats, they then made a bigger scene & went and got a guy who worked there, He came up told us they paid for these seats. Well I asked them is it that big of a deal they said yes and there money was better then ours. Then the younger gals told me to f—- off !! In front of this employee, which did not go over real well! I said you should have some respect, which obviously she has none. Employee did nothing about the foul language and had no manager skills whatsoever! He made the older couple in front of us move, which they had time moving very good. We moved to also, the young gals kept there bad language up. It did interrupt everyone else in the theater. We asked for money back and the manager name & number at this point. We decided to stay and finish movie. Afterward went up to desk and wanted manager name, the young kid at desk wanted to know what happened, problem with that was he was the employee there. He then lied said he was not aware of any problems. This young man without any balls, lied to us. I have never been treated with such disrespect and the language that was coming out of these gals mouth was very offensive at the least. I would of thought that this employee should of said something and escorted these young , disrespectful brats out the door, but no and he lied about even knowing anything. I’m very upset about this whole thing. We will never go back and I hope others won’t. Very none professional besides the prices and disrespectful people who work there and there service is the worse. Sad , the way younger generations act!! Then the whole time we where there they just made comments through movie . Bad service, poor management, along with over priced in every way. Sad you can’t go to a movie anymore and actually enjoy your night out and spend your hard earned money and get treated...
Read moreMy family and I went for Christmas to see Elsa and we were all so Excited and then after we entered to go get tickets the lady in the front was impatient when we had questions about the seating (note: we only go to the Theater for Christmas). I just brushed it off and we entered to get our tickets checked by the young girl working, I kindly asked her if there was any cardboard cut outside of Frozen 2 so I could get the kids picture taken and she said with a boring frown, they'll be in one of these halls if there is any (note: there was no long line holding up behind us). Then it was off for the goodies to buy for the movie. The guy was nice that helped us but when we got into the movies I noticed the guy didn't give us the Cheeto Popcorn I bought so the movie already started and after it was finished I was just going to go back to the snack bar to let them know so I could get a refund. The lady was the nicest one there that helped me and said she will go get someone to help me and I wait 4 minutes while my family is waiting for me and the lady and a man dressed up for Christmas comes up and then tells me there is nothing he can do about it without a receipt. I then explained to the man about their employee never gave me or even offered a receipt, I told him all the items I bought, the balance and time I bought it and I then told him that there was $7 down the drain because of someone's slip up. I just wanted to leave this review here to remind people to always get your receipt even if it is not offered to you so you won't be ripped off of your money as well. Besides that the Theater is beautiful and the picture on the screen is so clear and the seats in the Theater is so cozy to where both my daughter and I fell asleep during the end of the movie. It is a wonderful Theater and I do recommend it I just gave 3 stars because of the lack of costumer service skills this...
Read moreI went to this theater on a Sunday morning to buy tickets for an upcoming fathom event and was amazed at how rude the manager was. Their website stated that the theater oppened at 11:00am on Sundays so I was there at 11 but was left waiting outside for 10 minutes until a young ticket box worker showed up (He was the most respectful out of all of the employees I encountered) he answered a few basic questions we had but we were still left waiting outside, expecting the doors to open any minute, which they didn't. It was now 11:20 and we saw 2 more employees use the same entrance as the other but they ignored us completely. So we decided to go in through the door they'd pone through and as soon as we stepped inside, just wanting to ask questions about when we could be allowed to buy our tickets, they were aggressively telling us we were not allowed in the building at that time and that we needed to leave. We went back out and waited a few more minutes and then came back in, got yelled at some more, asked the younger employee to see a manager and then was told by the manager that they were not opening for another 15 minutes. This theater is supposed to open at 11am and we were asked to leave the theater at 11:30 because they were still "closed". The manager said she could not sell us tickets before they opened because she had no money for us to buy them with (what does that even mean) but we were going to be using credit cards so that didn't even matter. We left the theater heated and annoyed, came back 15 minutes later (the doors were just now being unlocked and it was close to 11:40) and bought our tickets at the automated stands in a total of 2 minutes and then we were gone.
