They have a policy of not consigning clothing with stains/damage. However, a coat I purchased here had loose buttons and a rust stain. When I brought it to their attention they were rude and insisted the buttons were strongly stitched and that they wouldn't fall off. With their feedback, I purchased the $65 dollar coat with trust that they knew what they were talking about. A couple days later, not to my surprise, the buttons began popping off. I worked on stitching them back up and noticed they were previously sewn on multiple times and re-threading the buttons was nearly impossible because the fabric was worn in those areas. The buttons were loose and continued to fall off. Of course, there could be no returns, and I can't now reconsign this item as there is a rust stain and missing buttons.
Very frustrating experience I had here and a waste of $65 :( I will still continue shopping here, but beware and pay attention to what you are buying as they clearly don't check their products...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI AM DELIGHTED!!! Iāve been shopping and selling clothes at consignment shops in the Treasure Valley for years and Serendipity Boutique Consignment Clothing is by far the best experience Iāve ever had. I wish I had been shopping and consigning here all along. As far as a place to consign your clothes, they have their act together as far as communication and policy better than anywhere Iāve ever been. As far as a place to shop, the boutique is clean and well organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. The selection is fun, fresh, and diverse. This should be your first stop if you ever have a theme party to attend or you just want to play dress up. Thereās also a great selection of contemporary everyday fashion. There is something for everyone and every occasion!!! Iām so glad I finally...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really enjoy shopping at Serendipity Boutique--all clothes are checked for quality and wear before they are accepted for consignment, so I know I can trust them to be in good condition when I buy them. Regular prices are very affordable and the sidewalk sales ($3 items!) are great for treasure hunting. Consignments are only kept on the rack for three months and then donated to charity, so the selection is always fresh and changing. Seasonal offerings make special displays, like Christmas sweaters. I have consigned clothing here and made some cash, but you can also use your consignment earnings as store credit and get 50% of the split instead of 40%. The staff is very helpful, too. 10/10...
