so for the past couple weeks there have been several times that Ive gone at around 9pm, and either been told they were closed, or that they were "only taking door dash orders at this time".
I went there tonight and was told they would only be serving door dash orders, and they would not take my order. so, I left, got something at the wendy's just down the road, then as I was coming home, I pass by to see that several cars are in the driveway, and they appear to be taking orders, just a couple minutes after I was there. so, I zipped back around, went through the drivethrough to see what they would say, and they did not realize it was me and asked what Id like to order.
I asked them about what time they close, and then asked why I was told I could not order just a mere few minutes ago. I said I did not want to order now, but asked for the managers name. they refused to give it to me.
I got out briefly and went to the car in front, and asked if their order was taken, or if they were door dash or just a regular order, and they confirmed they were not door dash.
the person inside came out to tell me I would have to leave or he would call the cops on me.
I was never apologized too, never given the name or referred to any other management to talk to.
I stopped to record what was happening so I can share this with corperate management.
Your store employees in the evening just close the place down randomly and turn away orders during times that even the ones doing so say they are open. they are rude, and do not offer any apology or offer to help or make up for any inconvenience. They look for excuses to not take orders, and then when asked for a manager they get rude and threated to call the police on people.
at no time did I yell at anyone, cuss, or make any threatening remarks etc. yet, they actually called the police on me, I was about to leave and he came outside, was talking with the police, and went around to my car to get my liscense number, and then stated that he felt...
Read moreAside from the nice girl working at the counter this was literally the WORST fast food experience I’ve ever had. When we walked in there was someone there I am assuming employee off the clock? They were far from uniform but making food with their long hair over the frier and it just looked completely unsanitary. Once they had made their food and left someone finally acknowledged us. The drink machine in the lobby was all out except for Like 2 things. After over 20 min (we were the only ones there) we received our food, 3 burgers and fries and some tacos. The burgers and fries were COLD. Not just a little cold but the cheese has not even melted a little. Asked for a refund to just go somewhere else at that point considering it took over 20 min for cold food that was questionably sanitary to begin with. We had taken the burgers up to the counter when we asked for a refund and threw the bag of the rest of the food away. He said “ya our machine wasn’t on” what machine??? A warmer? The grill??? And how long did they sit after being cooked to be that cold? When receiving our refund we were given a fraction of what we paid and asked about it. The guy says “you didn’t show me the rest of the food just the burgers did you eat it” MAKES ME GET THE BAG OF FOOD OUT OF THE GARBAGE To prove it was cold and we didn’t eat it. When needing to wash my hand after that the bathroom was locked up public and I was not able to be let in to wash them. He then said “well you took a drink of your drinks” Which we threw away with the food but ok… don’t refund those? Just mind blowing the way it...
Read moreI've been to Jack in the Box many times over the years, and, as expected, it's always quick, mediocre food. I've never had a horrible experience like I did recently at the State St location. I sat at the drive-thru menu for a couple of minutes before someone finally said something. I placed my very simple order and pulled forward. The person at the window didn't say a word, just asked for my card. He handed it back, again silent. I got my food and pulled away, checking the contents before leaving the drive-thru lane. I received half of my order. I backed up to the window. Nobody else was in line. I could see the person who took my payment and handed me my order, so I honked, but nothing. I honked a few more times, but still nothing. I finally knocked on the window, but there was still no acknowledgment. He began walking toward the window but took a turn, so I honked once again, and he finally came to the window. I let him know of the issue, and he asked me for my card to pay, no acknowledgment of his mistake, nothing. I asked for the name of his manager, and he said he didn't know. He just works there. I got the rest of my food and left. Shortly after, I called the district manager, having obtained his information from another Jack in the Box location. I left a message and still have not heard back. It's not worth wasting any more of my time on.. so I'll just stop going to Jack in the...
