I had Jessica as my stylist today, and it was my first time being here. I wanted a bob, mostly to even out my hair as it had grown out from a pixie cut, and it didn’t turn out disasterous, but: I had a reference photo that I showed her. I know hair stylists (especially those at chain salons) can’t 100% copy a style from a single reference photo, but it really seemed like she didn’t try. She gave me a basic bob and basic bangs, and I was done within maybe 10 minutes, plus another 5 to check out. 3 hours. Curly hair damaged, asked for short hair and showed a pic with ombre hair. Told her that maybe it was not going to bleach well so any color was fine, even all hair dark color. Said no and that she was not going to have time for the next appointment if she did that. I ended up paying a lot of money for a bunch of highlights all over my hair, yellow, because no toner was even used, and as soon as I walked out my hair looked like it was hit by lightning. The ladies here were very nice, but my daughters haircut is terrible. Asked for thick straight across bangs and she got little tiny whisps that are so short, almost close to the very top of her head. I specifically asked for bangs to not be cut too short and now it looks as if she’s a 3 year old with a bad bang trim and she’s a teenager!
