Miami Cove Electric — Local services in Garibaldi

Avoid this  company. Horrible horrible customer service. I called this company to come and give me an estimate on some construction electrical work. They promptly came out to assess the job then I had to follow up with them several times to actually get the bid. The bid was almost $8,000, more than what I could spend at the moment so I asked for certain things on the bid. Once it was affordable I signed their acceptance contract that they provided then never heard from them again. Every communication took them a week or two to get back with me and only after I followed up. They have delayed my remodel by over a month! I don't know if the $2,000 job was too small for them or what. If it was I would have understood, all they had to do is let me know so I could move forward with someone else, but they refused to communicate with me to let me know what was going on. I was planning on finishing up the job this fall when I could pay cash. Now they are out a $10,000 job. So rude, so inconsiderate.  If they didn't want the job all they had to do is email me and tell me. How they stay in business when they treat their customers this way is...

An incredible company! The project manager came to my home promptly after requesting the quote. The quote was provided within days, along with full descriptions and alternatives that provided choice. The documentation was seamless and direct; the completion was quick, professional, and as requested. A side note. The electrician accidently sawed into a peg board. He immediately owned it. He didn't try to hide it, blame something else, or pass it off like it was on purpose. He simply admitted it, offered to fix and replace, and asked me what I wanted. Here's the thing about businesses on the coast - they don't operate very professionally. It's not unusual at all to get told that they will be tehre one day to give you a quote and never to hear from them until you call again, get some half-hearted excuse as to why they didn't show and get a non-committal rescheduling as to when they "may" be back out.

Miami Cove is nothing like that. They answer the phone when you call. They make an appointment to give you a quote. They give you a realistic time frame for completing the project, and they follow through. I can say that I will never call another electrical contractor again.
