We were looking for a place where locals go because we usually find better prices, quality food and always an adventure. The location is a little off the main path but not impossible to find if you continue past the RV park on a gravel road. Once there you will find an older building along the water. It was clearly posted outside “no minors” and “cash only”. Once inside it was an obvious local go to place. The bartender/server was polite and attentive to helping us even though were obliviously not locals. The menu items were mostly bar type food with salads and soup. I ordered the clam chowder, after the waitress assured me it was good. I consider myself a clam chowder connoisseur having tasted various restaurant recipes from the California to Washington state coast . Their chowder was one of the best, in my opinion. If you are a Mo’s clam chowder fan than this is not the soup for you. The consistency was perfect and loaded with clams and vegetables. We thought the prices were very reasonable and would return here again! Before we left we learned the owner and soup chef turned out to be our server “Kelly”....
Read moreI have nothing nice to say about this place. We walked in there was knowone there dining. Sat down and waited a few minutes before someone came over. Before we came we checked out the menu on Google so we new what we wanted but what I saw online was no longer available. My husband wanted breakfast which online said was served all day...well they changed that too. We both ordered the club sandwich, he got the coleslaw and I opted to pay extra for clam chowder. So the orders arrive and right away you can visually see that the chowder was gloppy and thick. Quite gross. I put a spoon in it and it stood up. Sent that back in exchange for a side salad. The cook comes out and places this salad down and we both looked at this dish of greens and noticed the entire thing was wilted as if to be sitting in the fridge for days. It was disgusting and I didn't even touch it. The sandwich was just ok. I ate one wedge of it and called it done. Suffice to say... we won't ever return. Oh and the service was slow and there was know one else...

I assume that to be so because the restaurant was closed for two days prior to my woking there. There is sn old plastic catering bin with shelves...there was ancient cob webs surrounding the left side of the opening, where packaged buns were stored. I went to grab Fresh lettuce, lt was in a plastic bag, sitting in about a quarter inch of water...in the bottom of the coor/refrigerator.Large tubs of mayonnaise and butter sitting on the kitchen floor....not in the refrigerator. The ice in the drinks are kept in two large coolers outside, the scoop is kept in the cooler, when you take the lid off dirt specks fall onto the ice, the same ice that is served in drinks.....This just a few of the discusting and unsafe things I personlly...
