We went here to get away from the city for a night. The managers are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is on the main road in Garibaldi so there are dining options nearby. The old steam trains were being shown when we were there, so we had a bit of train noise but that does not happen all the time. The mattress in our room was a bit old and saggy, but the floors had just been updated and fresh paint applied. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at the coast.

Simple, but clean and comfortable hotel. We booked here at the front desk and the clerk was very helpful and even showed us a room first. During our stay my wife got sick and they were helpful with that too. They even refunded our last night's stay even though we left early without 24 hrs notice. That was their call, just a very nice gesture.

This place was a great deal for summer on the Oregon Coast. My only complaint was not being able to make coffee in the room. The lobby didn’t open for a few hours after we got up. Nice rooms, clean, friendly front desk person, great price!

At first the room was just okay, though, it was clearly not very clean. There was hair on the floors and spider webs. Then, around 11:30pm while we were winding down for bed, there was a bug crawling on the bed and we flicked it off and identified it to be a bed bug. We immediately called management and spoke to a lady that quickly moved us to another room. We felt disgusted and even considered just sleeping in the car instead, but ended up just sleeping on top of the bedding just in case. The clean of the second room was even worse than the first but we didn’t find any bedbugs in the second room. In the morning, I spoke with a man at the front desk to see if they’d consider any type of discount or a full refund due to not only the inconvenience of moving rooms so late at night but because of literal bed bugs - and got met with disrespect. He said to my face that he thinks we’re lying just to get a refund on the room in front of other customers in the lobby. I then asked for the manager in which he stated he was the manager and REFUSED to give his name so we could make a dispute on my bank since he refused to give me any type of compensation. We then spoke with housekeeping in which they were dramatically more kind and respectful towards our discomfort and assured us that they were going to do something about the situation and provided us with the “managers” name - Which is PANDEEP so we could do what we needed to do to get this settled. Do...

For anyone looking for a quality, clean, and most of all inexpensive stay in the Tillamook, Garibaldi, Rockaway area - this is the place to go! Upon our arrival we were greeted by an incredibly friendly hotel manager who chatted and joked with us and made us feel very comfortable from the get-go. I really wish I would have gotten his name so as to mention him here but he worked during our 7/15 stay. The office was very clean, staff wore masks, and barricades were in place to protect employees and staff for social distancing purposes. After heading up to the room we were so relieved to find that it was almost hospital clean, in fact this was one of the cleaner and better kept/smelling motels we have stayed in in a long time. Everything in the room worked, and the room had a brand new AC unit which functioned perfectly. Also, I don't know if it was a lack of guests or just the quality of the wifi, but their wifi was very fast and allowed us to watch 4k videos while staying. Overall, very nice quality rooms for the discount in price you get compared to other local motels/hotels. I forgot to mention, a booking error occured and our original single bed room was booked to someone else. When we got there the manager was incredibly apologetic and immediately set us up with a much larger double queen room at zero extra cost. 10/5 stars for the service, staff, and overall stay. Was thoroughly surprised and impressed,...

My husband and I stayed here for a quick 3 night get away to go crabbing!! We got a king suite with kitchenette. The room was cute and spacious, with a couch, table and chairs and plenty of room for cooking. The website photos did feel a little confusing as some of the photos showed an oven with full size fridge, and some just showed a burner with microwave. So I did call to confirm and there was some confusion. We didn’t need the oven anyway so it was fine for us to just have the burner but I brought basically our whole kitchen because when I asked what was all in it, I did not really get a direct; thorough answer until they called me to confirm we had no oven (which I did appreciate ) There was some silverware, plates, a pot and a couple pans and a couple small cooking utensils. No cooking crab or shellfish in the room so we had to go off site. The bed was ok, I’ve definitely slept in worst beds at hotels, and it was fairly quiet, I didn’t hear any other tenants at all. Great location and very clean. Check in was easy and fast and check out was even better. We will definitely...
