I was told today that my the renewal of my lease was terminated and I was told it was a corporate decision in which none of the leasing agent could discuss with me. I have never been late on my rent and for the most part I paid my rent ahead of time. Several months ago, I began to receive letter on my door regarding past due rent/notice to vacant due to unpaid rent. I went down to the leasing office, and spoke with one of the leasing agents, the first time it happened, letting them know that my rent total amount was not showing up on the residential portal with the right amount; I also began to go down there directly and ask for the amount I needed to pay. I would pay that amount and still recieve a notice on my door. I was very upset and I ask that they not leave notices on my door when I pay my rent on time, I also requested that the water bill and all that I owe be on the portal like I was told it would be when I initially moved in. Immediately after those incidents, I received a letter stating that a resident smelled weed coming from my apartment, I am not a smoker. I went down to the office upset stating how could you possible smell weed when I do not smoke, one of the leasing agent told me that they place notices/fees on all the resident in my building on my floor. I spoke to one of the residents and they said they did not recieve a notice concerning weed. And for the record I live in building 7 for almost 4 years and their never was a complain on my door regarding weed. A week later a police showed up at my apartment stated that someone had called complaining about weed in my apartment, he came in and stated that he did not smell weed and he would notify the leasing office of this. Also, one of the leasing agent lived upstaris from me. I am not happy for the emotional turmoil that they have put me in, and how they intentinally trying to sabboge my good name/record due to my sexual orientation, and my race. Me and my girlfriend have come up there several times to work in the office, and most of them do not speak. I noticed a difference in how they treat white future aparment owners vs, people of color. I am sadden by this and I hoping something can be done to people who think it okay to discriminate for any reason. When I first move to One 90 Firewheel the leasing agents were nice and the place looked and smelled great all the time, and it was worth the money, over the years it has completely change, trash is everywhere, dog poop is everywhere, and the dumpsters are over flowing with large boxes. It totally gone...
Read moreI currently live here and i will post more about the office issues after i eventually move out. (Been here about 2 years) But for now, just the lawn service alone is something you need to be aware of before making your decision to live here. I've been listening to leaf blowers for almost 3 hours this morning. (Started around 7am) It's so bad. There's no sound protection, so it's basically like you're cuddling with the leaf blower. I'm serious, you can hear people coughing or even talking at a low volume from outside your window. (Which is it's own problem as well) Let alone lawn service. Anyways, the leaf blower people just seem to go in circles for HOURS. leaf blowing spots the others have already gotten. But it's a leaf blower so it just continues to blow them around into another workers perimeter and then repeat repeat repeat. I was going to wait til after I moved out because I have SO many issues with this place, but just the loud lawn service alone is something I feel anyone who is thinking of renting from here should know about. If you get up early and leave for work, you'll be fine. But if you like to sleep past 7 or 8am, be aware that it's VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR for about 2-3 hours. Sometimes literally outside just your window for 20 minutes. And again, no sound protection because this place has none. You can also hear anyone talking in the halls as well. Kids screeching, babies crying, and again- people literally just talking softly. If you enjoy your peace and quiet, I just feel its not fair to be tricked into renting a "luxury apartment", only to find no peace and quiet. Besides that, the office people are very nice, which is why I didn't take away all the stars. They will talk to you if you call them, and they are friendly. However, there is major disorganization all the time, and YOU have the be the one to take initiative, and figure things out because they won't. Or if they do it takes months and or years. I'll be able to post more details after moving out. But even getting the assistant manager to email back about something urgent that THEY brought up, it's been weeks. You have to be ok with making sure that you triple check everything. You have to be patient and ok with a lot of mistakes on their end, or you will not be happy here. I'm a very patient and understanding person, and even I have reached my limits with them. Again, they have always been friendly which is the only reason why I haven't taken away all the stars. But at this point friendliness doesn't outweigh the serious lack of organization...
Read moreWe first toured one90 in April looking to downsize. Kahli has been wonderful since day 1 and has been a joy to work with. We leased one of their brand new units and what sold us was having a “large” yard. When construction was finished we went to go tour our unit. the “large yard” was essentially a small triangle. This was very tiny compared to their actual large yards. The unit inside was poorly designed and very crammed in. No natural lighting at all because of the layout of the building. We decided to go with another apartment in their original buildings. Move in day comes around and our unit is filthy. Unfortunately you could immediately tell the cleaning was very rushed. There was dog hair stuck on the very greasy refrigerator doors and very greasy stove. The grease was from maybe a poorly done job at applying stainless steel cleaner without cleaning the appliances first. The backsplash had food stains. There was human hair and crumbs inside the dishwasher. None of the cabinets were wiped down and found some human hair inside the drawers as well. The water filter was filthy and made the water taste dirty. The paint job was very rushed as there is paint speckles throughout the flooring. The pantry door and bathroom door have a poorly done repair job from what seems to be like someone punched through both doors. The bedroom carpet was replaced prior to us moving in and again a very poorly done job because it is lifting and the edges look like they were just ripped and put down. There was dust in almost every corner of the apartment including a bug in one of the corners. The toilet seat was broken. There was dust and toe nail clippings in the bathroom. There is an exposed dirty pipe that is leaking above the shower. You could see it has left a trail of orange hard water stains on the bath walls (again not cleaned prior to us moving in) there was dust on the bathtub shelves. Hard water on the shower head. A big hole in the drywall under the Medicine cabinet. 2 baseboards in the bathroom and kitchen are completely loose. All of these small things add up and it is very frustrating coming into this after a stressful weekend of moving. One90 offered to send their housekeeping person but we declined because we had already did most of the cleaning. They should look into power washing the breezeways and stairs because they are dirty. A big plus is they do have amazing amenities. Overall our experience hasn’t been the greatest but we hope...
