My experience with this establishment was a letdown and I'm puzzled by there're high reviews. I'm still trying to figure out how this place has so many good ratings and reviews. Believe it or not my experience with them was not that great. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted and had to ask for help. The workers acted as if they didn't want me there. I felt the bias as soon as I walked in. Then the short heavy set Hispanic guy was looking at my fourteen-year-old with such disdain, all because he was being a kid by unconsciously leaning on the counter playing his video game, and the man I was dealing with handled my gold jewelry with great disrespect, rubbing my necklaces against his work equipment extra hard. After being there for about 30 minutes I was told that my jewelry was of no value and that they pass. I left and re-enter a few seconds later to ask a question and, found staff and a customer laughing and having a whole conversation about me, which left me feeling humiliated and embarrassed. Never again will I visit this place. In contrast, I went to Cash America on Centerville Rd, in Garland, Texas. My experience was Excellent. The staff greeted me warmly, they were friendly and professional, and they actually took the time to properly evaluate my jewelry. I left satisfied, having received nearly $300. ( Hey Dan Foster, aka Uncle Dan, I just wanted to respond to you. I know exactly where your place is since I've been there. Honestly, my experience was not great and it looks like your staff reflects that. You seem to have a bit of a bad attitude, can't really take criticism, accept the truth and you encourage negative dialogue rather than constructed dialogue. My son and I got treated pretty badly by your team, and it's disheartening to see a business struggle with accepting constructive feedback. I believe that acknowledging and addressing these concerns can lead to significant improvement. As someone who wears a camera with me everywhere, I have video footage of our visit, so if you want, I could share my experience on...
Read moreThis is a Pawn Shop. If you look at the the 300 plus reviews. They are from people that have only left one review for anything, and it just happens to be this business. I will say that I had been wanting to pop in to such a highly rated Pawn Store to check out what they had to offer for a while. Everyone was super nice that worked there & it looked clean, but there really wasn't much floor stock to look at. The selections were pretty sparse. They get 1 star for greeting me and it being clean. If you are need of a place to pawn your possessions, then I would give them a try. They need all the product they can get their hands on. If you happen to be driving by & want to check out a Pawn Shop, then by all means you should. However if you are trying to make up your mind, whether or not to drive out of your way to see what's on offer (and if your not looking for anything specific)... in my opinion don't. If you have something specific in mind, give them a call. I really think they have enlisted as many friends, relatives & neighbors to pad their reviews and jack them up to an almost perfect 5 star rating. If it's too good to be true... it...
Read moreThis seems like a decent establishment. However, for my own safety & others, I can't shop here or recommend this business. The reason: Properly placed 30.06 signage is present, potentially making it a target-rich environment and illegal for law-abiding citizens to have the ability to properly defend themselves as necessary inside the store. I will also proactively warn those I know & love to avoid this place. I've also provided this information to the "Texas 3006 - No Carry Locations" app so that it's 10K+ users can be automatically forewarned before stepping indoors & risking a criminal record. If the status of this signage should change, please respond accordingly to this review and send a dispute to the app so that it can be verified. I may then reconsider patronizing your...
