On November 29 2024 we ordered a refrigerator washer and dryer from Garner appliance in Garner North Carolina. We set a delivery date on January 27 as our house that was being built, would not be ready for move-in until then. The delivery arrived as scheduled. Within the first week of using the washer dryer, something wasn’t right the washer kept bouncing around like it was on a trampoline, and the dryer would not heat correctly. We thought it was maybe because the clothes in the washer were out of balance but this continued with every load of wash that we did. We went back to the store and spoke with Connor who helped us with this original order and told him we were not happy with the washer and dryer. Connor was very understanding and apologetic at that time. We wanted to exchange the washer dryer for a front loading washer and dryer and he gave us a quote but mentioned that he was unauthorized to finalize the deal as it had to be approved by superiors. A couple days later we received a call from Jennifer and explain the situation to her and told us basically that we had to have a GE repairman come out and look at the washer know if ends or butts about it. Her lack of customer service professionalism truly showed. She was argumentative and said we could not trade in the old for the new and pay the difference in price. In that same conversation, she told us that we could upgrade the washer, but had to keep the dryer! We told her that was not what we were willing to do and after further discussion, she said she would check with her supervisor and call us back which she did and we eventually received the new front loading washer and dryer for the difference in cost and we thoroughly love it. In addition when we originally spoke to Connor for the new quote for the new washer and dryer we were also interested in an upright freezer which Connor quoted us but due to Jennifer‘s attitude, we chose not to purchase...

He thoroughly explained the features of each appliance without attempting to sell us the most expensive options, ensuring that we remained within our budget. Our primary concern was the functionality of the appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove) rather than brand names.

I had reservations about induction cooking, but Keven patiently addressed my concerns, even discussing them again with my husband when he visited for a final review before our purchase. We ultimately chose induction and are satisfied with our decision.

While searching for a new stackable washer/dryer, I found the same Electrolux model on sale at Lowe's for approximately $150 less than Garner Appliances. Approximately one year later, we discovered that the washer and dryer doors could be adjusted to open in either direction. Keven personally visited our home and made the adjustment at no cost, saving us the $180 service call fee.
