Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Gastonia

We had several issues using mens warehouse for my wedding. Overall everything got sorted out but here is my personal experience: Disclamer The people in the mens warehouse were all fantastic. They were very helpful and polite at all turns, they also acted quickly to at least attempt to remidy our issues. I am unsure how many of my issues were created by the specific location. Many of my issues may simply be related to the website or standard operating procedure. I have used mens warehouse several times in the past and we never experienced these issues. The online selection that we made would not be honored, naturally for an additional fee of nearly $60 per individual. The discrepency was between our suit jacket and pants selections. The system refused to allow this and we had to make a selection change (the gentlmen in the store did try to remedy this, to thier credit). One of our members got sized before we had to make this change, he had to return to be re-measured. Once he went to pick the suit up, it had not all arrived. The Mens Warehouse then proceeded to CHARGE HIM ADDITIONALLY for "expedite" shipping, to get the rest of his own rental. That is debatably fruad, he paid to recieve his suit at a location at a time. Charging him additionally after the fact is slimy. Once we had the suits returned, he complained and demanded a refund, he was granted this (hence the review is not 1 star). We also had members of our group be charged different prices (varying up to 50 dollars +/-). Overall it is what it is. This is not my first time using mens warehouse but I will likely turn to small buisness if possible...

Talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! We are in a time crunch for my son’s wedding. Jacket was a special order Tommy Hilfiger and was fitted and 50L and when it arrived, too tight. 52 R or L versions were not even orderable. Nor was a 54. 56 would be way too big. Robert Roach, Gastonia, NC store manager searched his system and found ONE, in Massachusetts. Versus giving me the information, he made the phone call, spoke to the MA store manager, had them lay hands on the suit and then jumped through hoops and made a miracle happen. He took my 50 unworn tagged as a return and issued a gift card. He then utilized the gift card to order the MA 52 and managed the logistics and shipping straight to my home. All I have to say is WOW. Employee, Joshua, in store, was also knowledgeable and present and very friendly and professional. I would recommend the Gastonia Men’s Warehouse over any similar store in the area. We had an issue with tailoring at a different store and had an event coming up within a week. We had to get three shirts redone. I called Zach, the store manager, in a panic and he calmed my anxiety and assured me that everything would be fine and they would be able to help. That night, we went to the store. His team was exceptional and eased our concerns. Maria, the tailor, was a class act and got everything taken care of in less than 48 hours. Everyone at this store was down to earth, respectful, and truly knowledgeable about men’s ware. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. This is the best of the best. Worth the drive if you are not close by!
