We tried this market twice while on vacation due to the convenience of its location from our cabin. We stopped for snacks before heading out on the scenic byway. The market has a decent selection of goods but the store has an unpleasant odor. The cashier was also a bit unfriendly. A few days later we ordered pizza from them as our cabin had a menu on the fridge. We ordered the 2 med. 2 topping pizza special. We asked if we could upcharge to one Supreme and one 2 topping pizza but were told that he wouldnt customize our pizza because "the math was too hard". After ordering our 2 two topping pizzas we were informed it would be over $35. The menu price was 23.99. When we tried to clarify the price, the cashier became angry and offended. We were finally able to get him to itemize the price out for us. A delivery fee was a given and expected but were unaware of the "service fee" that was assessed. Neither of these fees are noted on their menu so be aware. The pizza arrived in less than an hour which was a pleasant surprise as it was raining and we were up on the mountain. In summary if you're looking for fast delivery of mediocre pizza and poor customer service, this...
Read moreNestled right on mountain side it's a well stocked "little" country style market. It is super convenient in a remote area that possibly can provide you with enough goods to keep you from making a trip to the grocery store for those times when you just need a few things before you need to do your major shopping. It's also a place you can order pizza for pickup for dinner along with all sorts of beverages from non alcoholic to soda to milk for your cereal. Location is near a 3way intersection with 2 routes leading up the mountain & the other route is a short drive to the heart of downtown Gatlinburg so the location is ideally located along with convenience. Stop by if you need something or to just check it out, it's worth the stop for both or...
Read moreWe decided to book an Air BNB just outside Gatlinburg to avoid the prices, but we didn't know we'd end up so far up the mountains. On our way we turned past this little market that ended up being the only place close enough to be worth the drive down the mountain to get some food we figured would have been easier to get to. The prices are a little higher than your average corner store, but the convenience is well worth it. They have a whole menu of hot food you can order that is far better priced than any restaurant in town and just as good made even faster. We ordered a pizza and were able to pick it up in about 15 minutes just before dark. They also offer delivery, for a nominal fee, that can save you from a frightening trip down the...
