High Haven Cabin — Local services in Gatlinburg

I've put off writing this review in hopes that I could come up with enough positives to say, to keep me from looking like I'm mad at the owner. Unfortunately the wait did not help, so let me just state that I am indeed NOT mad about my stay here. I simply have some negative comments about the cabin. To start I'll just say that, were it not for the down-stairs Master bedroom being so well accommodated, there would be nothing to commend this place. The cabin was drafty. The little pooltable is tucked in so tight you can't possibly play pool on it and it is in need of repair. The game machine looks great, but makes lots of noise (as apposed to music) and has NO games that we recognize (even though we have a similar machine at home). The stairwell leading to the Master bedroom was originally an outside stair which has been inclosed, but not insulated. There is much more, but this is enough. When we paid for the cabin the price led us to believe we would again (we travel to this area every year for our anniversary) be staying in a realty nice cabin with views and nice accommodations. When we first pulled up to High Haven Cabin in Gatlinburg Tennessee we were met with a breathtaking view of an impeccable cabin nestled in a little cove surrounded by amazing wildlife! Within 15 minutes we saw our first Bear (momma) shortly followed her two baby cubs! Approaching inside High Haven Cabin we were met with an amazing setup inside with 2 lovely lofts, 3 astonishing decks, 2 FULL bathrooms, an amazing master suite down stairs (with a huge 2 person jetted bathtub) and not to mention the 4 person hotub on the lower deck. Other amazing amenities included a full kitchen with everything you would need for a week in the mountains from the stove, a full fridge and freezer, air fryer, coffee machines and everything you would need to make a full meal and cook with! Lots of boardgames, TVs, and even a game set up with over 500 arcade games to include my favorite Pacman! We saw momma bear and her two cubs multiple times! The owners are absolutely amazing, very attentive and fast responding! We were very well taken care of! We will definitely be back to High Haven Cabin! 10/10...

My husband and I took our 4 kids (it was the first vacation to the mountains for our youngest 2) and we absolutely loved this place! The upstairs room was perfect for the two teenagers, the kids loved the hot tub just as much as the huge bath in the master suite downstairs. The cabin was very clean and taken care of. We sat out on the porch in the mornings and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Very safe and secure! We played countless games of pool and ordered pizza delivery from the store down the road. Convenient to town and also far enough away to not have to hear...
