Quite a nice attraction, nothing glamorous, but very peaceful climb to the summit of Mt Harrison. This doesn't go over urban areas like those down in Gatlinburg, but is much more secluded. We were able to see a mother bear with cub on the way up and back. We also saw a squirrel, chipmunk, box turtle, several different types of birds, wild flowers and small creek. I have pictures of my son on the lift with me sitting beside me. He started moving a lot so at the halfway point I asked to go back down. We get off, I drop my purse and look up and a chair comes flying into me and my son injuring me. I had grabbed and shielded my son but he fell. This was terrifying being knocked into by a chair!!! Read moreThis really is not scenic. The tram goes over a bunch of houses and stops a a mid-mountain mall where everything is an additional fee. If you want to go the the actually scenic lookout it's another $10 pp to take the chair lift to Mt top. There is ice skating, tubing, rock wall and what appears to be a sore excuse for "wildlife encounter"... All for an additional fee of course. Over all not worth the...
