Kohl's — Local services in Genoa Charter Township

OPEN YOUR DRESSING ROOMS! Especially if this isn't an order from our crazy Michigan Governor. I'm not spending $200 or more on clothing only to waste fuel taking them home and using my house as a dressing room just to possibly bring the items back. My nearest Kohl's is over an hour away. I stopped off here during a road trip for the holidays. Kohl's, if this is your doing, then have an associate monitor the room and clean as needed. That's what these times call for. What makes this more frustrating is the fact that there was a sale on Levi jeans, buy one get one half off and one specific pair left in my usual size and I wanted to try another style. Couldn't try them on 3 hours from home and wasn't going to attempt it in my car in the parking lot. Was there another way of me achieving this? Please let me know for future reference. In hindsight, I could have driven over to Lowe's a few blocks away and walked in with a large Kohl's bag to use their restroom that was open. Thanks for nothing Corona. More business lost and a grim future for stores. I put my items back and walked out empty handed and sad that I couldn't think of a way to remedy this. Btw, this location allowed a few families to wander around the store with their masks off or they didn't have any at all that I could see. They weren't too shy about it either. They were loud and disruptive. So this can happen but I can't try clothing on for convenience? Typical stuck up Howell residents that believe they are above the law. Good luck. All went well until I ask to use the Kohl cash, I had just made a payment the young lady at service desk told me I could use this Kohl cash thing today. It was not explained that I was supposed to receive the cash things at my last purchase. The cashier called her manager, I believe that her name was Julie, she explained that it is necessary that I have the cash slips, when I explained that I did not receive any cash slips your manager told me she could not give me the $30.00 cash thing, I would need the actual cash slips. The service cashier lead me to beleive that all I needed to do was show this cashier the receipt that showed the $30.00 bal of alleged Kohl cash she would take it off invoice. That's when this manager stepped in and began telling to bad "they will review service tape and confirm that I was not given Kohl's cash. When ask if after review of tape and confirmation that I was not given this alleged Kohl's cash could I make another trip, aprox 30 miles, Julie explained it took aprox a week and the Kolh cash would expire. The whole thing is your management does not seem care if retention of a customer is kept. I could have made the same purchase at JC Penny's with a whole lot less hassle. I will think about this before I shop in your establishment...

Would have been five stars however at my last Amazon return the gentleman at the counter was assisting another customer unfortunately he was spending the majority of this time on the phone on hold contacting other stores to see if they had a children's dress in a certain size. This is something that woman could have and should have found out for herself. Each store he contacted he was on hold when he first got through then when he said what he wanted and they had to transfer him to another department and then when the employee they reached had to go out on the floor to see if it was in stock. He wasn't a difficult position but even after I mentioned to him that whenever he was on hold he basically all were he never attempted to take any of the returns while waiting on hold and unfortunately the woman never accepted the answer that this calls didn't have the dress I'm going out on a room to see if the other calls have had it. She was rude and he was trying to be too nice to her. The three of us in line to make an Amazon return paid the price however I left disgusted. Other than that my Amazon returns are always quick and easy and they have great prices on clothes which is all I usually ever buy from there.
