The store owner Cecelia reached out to me after my terrible experience with the tux shop. They are helping to preserve my wedding dress and accessories to make up for the bad experience which I can appreciate after what I had to go through the week of my wedding. Can’t wait to see the final results from the preservation. Since they reached out to me I updated my response as I feel a good business is one that is able to recognize when things are not right and ways to make up for it.

This week I used them for my sequence or bigger wedding celebration and that involved using the tux room for the dads and groomsmen.
I had 9 tuxes I needed (2 dads, 5 groomsmen, 1 groom, 1 brideman). Out of these 9 tuxes 4 of them were completely messed up.
The tuxes didn't arrive to people's houses until Monday May 3rd. This is when both dads realize their pants were way too short and bear in mind they were measured by the dress shop so they said come in and we will remeasure on Wednesday May 5th. So one of the dads pants arrived on Thursday May 6th still way too short. So they sent him another pair that didn't arrive until Friday May 7th the day before the wedding. The tux manager Karena said we were just hoping that the UPS would be able to deliver them. Hope is the key word.
The other dad kept trying to get updates about his pants and got refitted on Wednesday May 5th. Well he had to keep calling until finally they figured to try and alter the pants for Friday because his was also short.
Two groomsmen had issues as well which had be resolved on Friday as well.
So imagine trying to be a bride during this week. You have a ton going on. The last thing anyone should have to worry about is whether their dads and groomsmen tuxes will fit. Losing sleep over this and having anxiety the day before my wedding since they cut it so close. Absolute insanity in my opinion never seen such disorganization and keep placing blame on Jims Formal Wear when at the end of the day your the face of them so you should have more appropriate customer responses.
Since I felt my concerns were not being best addressed by the tux manager Karena I got sent to Cecelia who never followed up to me about these issues and concerns that I brought to her attention.
So I feel rather sad to say was a huge fan of the dress shop but this experience with the tux shop was HIGHLY disappointing and at the end of the day unacceptable for any bride to have to deal with these type of inconveniences. My poor dads and groomsmen who had to take time out of their work day to have to make trips out here because of their incompetence.
So yes if I was a bride looking for a tux shop. I would run far away from this place. Not...
Read moreUPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: Since my last review unfortunately things have only gotten worse. I've attached a photo of my sisters dress below... the blue one is the sample she tried on in the store and the red one is the one she received... CLEARLY not the same size. She went in to speak to them about the issue and the manager told her the sample dress must have gotten "stretched out" over time and did not take responsibility at all that the dress was not the right size. (So side note… don’t trust the sizes you try on here because they’re obviously not true to the size they say, way to dig yourself a hole Dress Shop…) Said that because she signed a contract saying that was the size to order there was nothing she could do. Instead, she made her PURCHASE AN ENTIRELY NEW DRESS!!!!! How can you justify anyone signing a contract saying that its the size to order when YOU ARE THE ONES WHO MEASURED US AND TOLD US WHAT SIZE WE NEEDED?!?! Absolutely Ridiculous!! Not a very smart business move on their part if you ask me seeing as how the bride and all of us bridesmaids are local residents and are of prime age to know a lot of other people who will be getting married soon. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone and neither will any of my friends or family. I also know many people involved in local chambers and networking groups and will make sure everyone I know knows this is how they treat their customers who have spent thousands of dollars with them between the brides dress, 3 bridesmaid’s dresses, mother of the bride dress and alterations for the most important day of their lives. I would be happy to change my opinion and remove my review if they would like to change their minds and give us a call and take responsibility of their mistake and work something out.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: We purchased our bridesmaids dresses which we were measured for at the store and we got them in and none of them fit. My sister even tried the dress on in the store in the size she ordered which fit but when she received it new there is literally a 5" gap in the back and it wont even begin to zip. Myself and my other sister were both told we were between 2 sizes and we both decided to go up a size just incase and hers is skin tight and theres a 1" gap for mine to zip, even though we went with the bigger sizes. Just dont understand how this is possible when we were measured... Also, when we went there werent any dresses larger than a size 12 to try on. They explained that it's because they only get what the designers send them for samples but I would think if you offer the dresses up to a size 28 that you would have something over a size 12 for someone who is...
Read moreWorse Experience, Customer service and quality !!! Do not go here. Over all my first visit was very nice I just went in to look at bridesmaids dresses to get a idea of what style I wanted. Me and my maid of honor found two we liked. The girl put them in the system so I could have my other bridesmaid come in and pick which one they liked best. About 3 weeks later Me and my maid of honor and bridesmaid came in again to have them retry on the dresses and see if there was other ones they may like instead. We settled one one different one that they and I liked. I ask the consultant to remove the two prior we had. A week later a bridesmaid of mine called to set up a appointment to try on the dress. I called that same day to confirm the deposit for the dress when the girl answered she ask which dress because two were on file.. I became irritated because I had specifically asked these be removed and updated with the new one.. they had no electronic record of this dress.. I had to come in and pull the dress to be sure my bridesmaid tried on the correct one. After that the rest of my bridesmaids called for there fittings or with their measurements the dress sizing was all over the charts. The one bridesmaid that tried on the dress in store tried on a size 8 and it was way to big on her.. when she place her measurements a week later they told her to order a 14 ... this happened with all my girls who ordered. The worse was one of the girls drove over a hour to come and try on the dress and get measured just for them to tell her she could NOT try on that dress.. when asking why she was told oh we don’t have your size. This made me even more angry .. no mater what her size ( mind your she’s very skinny) she should have been able to try on the sample but they would not allow her to. Fast forward to picking up the dresses... seams were falling apart soon as we picked up the dresses.. when we confronted the store they said oh that’s how it’s supposed to be... NO! Sooo now the girls have to also have that fixed on their dresses.. because the store claims it’s “normal”.. please do not waste your time or money with these people! They also can’t seem to keep a staff .. each time I went or called they had a new girls .. that never knew how to respond or...
