Great local game store, if I could do more stars I would, good selection and pretty good at having whatever it is you are looking for or if not then they can likely order it or tell you when they WILL have it, plus they surely have something that you didn't yet know you wanted, and just as, if not more important when it comes to your Local Game Store it has a staff that is friendly and helpful, very casual and inviting environment more often than not populated with a smattering of players each involved in their respective game(s) of choice, they got some kind of event going on pretty much if not every day from casual play to competitive and sanctioned tournaments and more I'm sure.
Magic the gathering is my main draw to the location and for that its been everything I need in a lgs, they have TONS of singles, I'd point out that its a oxymoronic amount of singles (copious singles), surely the widest booster selection around, but magic is just why I personally tend to find myself there but it's far from all they offer, they also have a large selection of Pokemon and pokemon singles, and other card games like Lorecana and flesh and blood, a variety of card protection (sleeves and deck boxes / storage and transport supplies, they also have what looks to be a sizeable Warhammer selection and supplies to meet your miniatire needs. Speaking of miniatures (and some not so miniature) they boast a formidable selection of D&D products, I'd go as far as to say something clever like "they have everything but the kneepads for your next "dungeon crawl" š š. Whatsoever it is you require in order to set out on your first or latest adventure you will likely find it here, choose from a slew of accessories and Refrence material, be it for players to make it thru the deepest (and what turned out to actually be the most inhabited) of dungeons in style and most importantly alive, or if your party grows subversive and your aiming for immersive then why not widen your world, Max out your maps and trick out your traps with the latest modules, handbooks, manuals and guides for dungeon masters to ensure the party doesn't necessarily make it all in one piece (don't worry it builds character, and they had to learn what a mimic is eventually š) all this along with visual aids and perhaps just the (miniature) big boss you have been looking for to (wipe that contagious smirk off a certain high rolling bards lucky halfling face) tastefully conclude your campaign, check here it doesn't hurt to try and it's better than "rocks fall everybody dies" speaking of that... maybe you just need some Dice... because you always need more dice, and seeing as they got fish tanks full, surely that should suffice, so I'm confident you will find the perfect dice, ones that roll real nice and at a affordable price. They offer all this and more and if they don't have it I'm sure a member of their helpful staff can order it or point you in the right direction.
So with that I'll end my turn speaking on the matter.
Turn passes to you... what you gonna do?
At the beginning of your upkeep remember..
For all your nerdy needs there's the upkeep games where you take priority, don't pass on your opportunity to get your nerd on and support your gaming community.
Sidenote, I am not an employee or anything like that I'm just an advocate of supporting your local game store and have had a good enough experience with this store, both in terms of product selection, availability and quality (not to mention some good pulls) as well as the mtg pre release events I've attended, it's been nothing but positive so I'm just doing my part, alas I digress, just remember, if your looking for a place to play I hope to see you there, the more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād try to stay clear of this shop in the future. The employees here are very hit or miss in terms of customer service with 2 of the gentlemen being very rude any and all times Iāve conversed with them. The big reason for this review is the scam of how they do trade ins. I traded in a large lot of Star Wars Unlimited last week and was told they do 65% store credit towards it. I knew I had between $1800-$1850 in tcgplayer low value so I was fine taking about $1200 in store credit. 3 hours later, after taking all of my trade ins to the back (like they do with everyones trades which is why itās EXTREMELY SKETCHY) they come back with an offer of $710 store credit. I was blatantly lied to by the person who went through my collection saying the tcgplayer low value was about $1100. Now I donāt know if this employee was literally stealing the cards or what but there is no way weāre $600 difference from when I checked the cards earlier that morning til that afternoon. He didnāt provide a printout of the individual values or anything like that. And after having my collection in the back for 3 hours who knows what could have happened to all of my cards. This is the only store Iāve traded stuff into that takes your cards to the back to privately go through them. This is not normal practice for game stores, and this place or at least that employee cannot be trusted. This was a 90 minute drive for me to trade these cards in and I only went through with the transaction because there was a bunch of flesh and blood product I needed that only they had. Iām most likely getting my attorney involved as this store basically stole $600 from me. I hope they have cameras where the guy was valuing my cards, because what he did was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to change my review do to me buying a couple cards from that I didn't notice where fakes due to me being a long time customer I put my faith in trust that I would not be given fake cards the cards that I purchased where not cheap otherwise I wouldn't be bothered but the fact of the manner is they where $80 dollars I did call them to try to resolve it unfortunately to no avail again I've been a long time customer with me putting my faith in there capabilities to spot fakes before purchases and selling. Very upsetting. Despite the fact time has passed I know without a shred of doubt I bought my cards from them I put them from team bag to sleeve do to level of trust in there capabilities the 2 I cards I purchased from was 1 sheoldred the apocalypse and 1 showcase sheoldred the apocalypse I know that's where I purchased them from and based off of trust again I played them as if they were never fake also why woud I go through the hurdles of faking a card when I had the money for the real ones and want the real deal just sitting here shaking my head there is proof on so many levels I purchased them from upkeep games in Howell and unfortunately this has put me on edge to do any business going forward with them.
