Went to Bdubs with a couple friends to get some wings and snacks. It took 5 minutes to get drinks and we received no straws. No biggie, we asked for straws the next time she came around. We never received our straws. No problem though, I trust that the cups were cleaned enough to where none of us would contract Corona, Hopefully. We finally received our food after a half hour. To say I was disappointed with my Buffalo Mac would be a understatement. Instead of sweet BBQ, I received mild sauce. I had so much oil in my macaroni, I’m surprised the U.S. army didn’t seize my food. All of my friends received the wrong vegetables and dressings. It also didn’t help that when we got our food, a full size little league baseball team showed up, occupying over 8 booths, surrounding us. I had to wear a mask for the rest of the meal. It took over an hour from us receiving our food to get our check, after our server literally left to serve in the bar area. After we asked another waitress to find our waiter, we received our checks. I gave the waiter a $20 bill to cover my meal, expecting to get $5 in change. I was the only one that didn’t receive change back, to my surprise. I thought she was going back to get my change, but I saw her working in the bar area again. After I tracked her down, I was lucky enough to get my change and receipt. Two of my friends were not asked if they wanted boxes, even though they had over 20 wings to take home. They were forced to grab their own take-home boxes to package their food. I have no problems with bdubs, just...
Read moreI came in Monday the 24th on lunch break from work with a co-worker. Service was fine and food was good. However, I had to get back to the office because it had been nearly an hour and took some time for our bills and the payment. Not a big deal, we know how it goes and our server seemed to have tables all over the restaurant. Anyway, we paid our bills, tipped the server and left the restaurant. As soon as we pulled out of the parking lot I realized I forgot my leftovers on the table. We immediately turned around and went back. I could not have been gone more than 2 minutes. Came in to grab it and found our table had already been cleared. Which was surprising after waiting several minutes for my bill previously. So I tracked down our server and asked, "You didn't by chance throw away the box of food from that table?" She looked at me smirked and just said yes. No apology or anything just kinda felt like she laughed at me. Honestly, I never write reviews and never would have even done this had she just said, I'm sorry about that. Not like a spent a fortune that day, but I come to this one pretty regularly and spend alot of money there, and this day just felt like I threw my money away. Will more than likely deter me from going in the future. I worked in the industry years ago, and it was common for customers to accidentally forget a box. We would bring it to the host stand in case they came back anytime soon then they would toss it if they did not return....But two minutes...and it's in the trash. Was a disappointing...
Read moreThis is more of a corporate issue but I don't like the new changes to the menu, plates and queso. First the queso dip is now like water. You have to request chili to be added (for a charge) to make it similar to what it was. Without the chili it is disappointing. The new menu's are too stiff. If you stop holding the page open it closes shut and you start over so to speak. It just seems unwelcoming like I'm filling out a form at a doctor's office. Next is the aluminum trays they replaced the paper bows with. It again seems very medical like I'm being handed a tray of instruments. Did anyone test this? You are passing out sticky wings on wax paper on a metal tray. Not exactly made to stay put. Not the worst thing in the world but not warm and friendly either. Especially when you have multiple flavors on a tray there is no way to keep them separate or easily identified. I understand the need to mix things up but I personally feel the changes are a flop. Good new the wings...
