Harps Food Stores — Local services in Gentry

Before the virus, the store was normally a pretty decent place to shop. But today we went to the store, and found a male cashier wearing a mask, but it was hanging half off his face! As a person with severe anxiety, and who takes this pandemic very seriously, I found it extremely unsanitary, how he was handling everybody’s goods like that throughout the day. I decided to confront him and say “you know, it won’t help if you wear your mask like that” and he had the audacity to say, “I know” and look me straight in the eyes. As soon as I got home, we had to sanitize our groceries. Absolutely disgusting. You figure that it would just be common sense to wear a mask while a national pandemic is going on, but I suppose for people like him it isn’t. He had short brown hair, he appeared to be in high school, and he had hazel-ish eyes. Won’t be coming back for a long time after that. Please urge your employees to wear masks...

I ordered a birthday cake last week, from the bakry at the gentry in harps, and when I picked it up last Wednesday morning I had asked the nice lady that waited on me if they made ice cream cakes and she asked the other lady that was working if they did and the lady said yes that they did but you would have to pre-order the ice cream cake, no big deal so, I called today to see if I could get a ice cream cake for Friday, and the lady that answered the phone said they didn't make ice cream cakes, so I think that they probably do but, the lady that makes cakes just didn't really want to mess with it. Thats okay I will try some place else. The ice cream cake was for my son his been really sick this week and he does not like cake but, since the lady at the bakry doesn't want to make him one it will...

I absolutely love Harps. I also love that most of their fresh products are local based and support local farms. Their gardening soils are always spot on and way better pricing than ACE & Walmart. Their meat selection’s are always good quality cuts and the price for what you get is really decent, compared to competitor’s. Their milk also tastes way better than Walmarts brand and doesn’t go bad prematurely unlike Walmart’s. Employees are also very generous and polite no matter when you go in, even if you can tell they’re having an off day, they’re still polite to you and help you out if you ask them or if they see you struggling, they’ll gladly come up to you and ask if...
