*Update December 2024 to one star: I have been a silver member here for many years. I have used all of their locations. In the past year, this location has gone way downhill. They have cameras, so I don't understand why the management doesn't monitor their employees. Some stand around and do nothing and only dry the car half way. I literally have to clean my car again when I get home. Every. Single. Time. There is no apparent manager there any more. I blew out a tire with less than 10,000 miles on it in the potholes coming up to the carwash (I know they don't "own" the driveway, but still, their water is washing down causing the potholes). Yesterday, I was there and it wasn't even busy. One of the workers was quite rude to me and insisted that I pull into a lane that was full rather than behind one car in the other lane that was almost completed. I know it's cold out now, but this has been going on since the end of Summer. I used to leave cash tips in the boxes, but no longer because it is so bad. They don't get the spots off, they don't clean the interior properly and miss a spots everywhere, the windscreen has streaks. Sometimes they don't even dry my car. By the time they get to it, all of the spots have already dried. If I say something, they get act like it's my problem and sometimes they will spray glass cleaner on my black car to get it off, but only in one spot because they cannot do this to the entire car. The Fredericktown location has been closed for way to long, and I hope that's better when reopening. That is not really convenient for me. Once a part broke on my car and Eric was very nice about getting everything straightened out. I saw him a few times at Germantown recently, but clearly, he is not the manager there and is not able to get this location running properly. The only places worth going to are the two mini-locations in Frederick where you dry your own car.
This is a great car wash when Nicole is there. Today was so crowded and there was an accident and the "manager" on site telling people to get into different lanes when other staff saying another lane. The manager was laughing at the lady in the accident. Nicole deserves time off but it's crazy when she's not there keeping everything...
Read moreThis place is horrible! Took my car in for a car wash & it comes out with a long scratch! Talked to 2 managers and seems like they are both trained by corporate to deny all responsibilities. Both singing the same tunes oh look "you have a ding here and here so this long scratch is definately not from us". This is even after both of them reviewed the photos of my car before entering the wash having no scratches on the door at all. They even look at the photo taken facing the door straight ahead rather than at an angle showing clearly that there is no scratch on the door. When faced with this, their denial is oh it's the lighting that's why we can't see the scratch. when the photo was taken perfectly and even zooming in didn't show the scratch! Kept arguing that if our equipment did it then all other cars would have the same scratches. They didn't care that the brush abruptly stop & restart again while my car was in the wash. I even mentioned that it did something to cause my side view mirror to bend forward toward the front of the car. Oh that's normal they say. I guess so if you are in the business of ruining other people's property. Anyway, after 1/2hrs of listening to the same excuses i asked if I could drive back through so they can take the picture to prove the difference and compare but they didn't let me. Their reasoning is that the lighting would be different now because it's a different time of the day. Sounds a lot like doing everything they can to avoid responsibility to me. The lady manager finally admit that if they fix it's would be a complete new paint job for the car. Now I know why they are trained so well by corporate to DENY, DENY & DENY all responsibility. Good luck staying in business with this kind of service!
I should have read the reviews in more detail before coming here. Plenty of 1 stars review with similar complains. Just glancing at the generic 4 stars rating is my own fault thinking it's a...
Read moreI must say at first I appreciated the fact that the register guy helped me decide if I needed the platinum wash or not. I had a Fitzgerald free silver car wash so I wasn’t spending any money besides tip. I found it a little scary to line up the car in the car wash but as I went to get the other portion of my silver car wash I was taken back once I got home. Everyone seem very nice and I even had one of the gentleman offer me coffee as I waited. The only reason I didn’t give them a call back to complain of what I saw when I got home is because it was free. I would say I would give them another chance because next time I am going to make sure it’s done right. After reading some of the reviews myself I can agree that the car wash part does leave droplets on the car and I would assume that the attendants that are drying the car would’ve noticed it but to my surprise they didn’t. I also saw dirty marks on my car on the handle, all over the car honestly. I would say I did feel like they rushed my car and started working on the next. I think it would be a good idea to have one lead supervisor to inspect the car before tell the customer it’s ready. This would avoid lots of complaints. Word of mouth is a big marketing support and customer really do pay attention to reviews. Being that I actually had already detailed the inside of my car myself I figured that’s why they were finished so quick. In all honesty I really only needed the outside to be wash but because I had the voucher I went ahead and did it. I live close to Frederick so I would of wasted my gas to even go back. To management please pay attention to the reviews and rectify these complaints. It’s nice to see you do reply but saying sorry will only last so long. You have a issue that can be simply resolved. If i could upload the pictures i would have for you to see. I have a white car so it’s easier to see the imperfections...
