Tacos El Pariente — Restaurant in Maryland

I took my mom to this location in germantown, md, for the first time, today. I originally checked out this location a month back. The food was great. She ordered nine tacos. We didn't wait long as they were not busy. The food was paid, and my mom added a tip for the service. I took my mom and dropped her off at her home. Ten minutes later, she called me, stating that a taco was missing from her order. I called the location to let them know of the error that was committed. The lady that answered the call stated that the woman who prepared the ordered swore she placed five tacos in one box and four in another. She asked me to call back my mother and see if she could take a picture of the order. I asked her what number, and she stated the one I called was fine. I did what she asked me to do, but I never got a call back. I asked her to please return my message, after receiving mine. I called directly, but they stopped answering my call. I called the parent restaurant in gaithersburg and asked for the owner. The lady said to hold as she looked to get HIM. Instead, a lady by the name of Jessica answered. I asked her if she was the owner, and she stated that she was not, but to let her know of the situation. I let her know. Very polite, she said that in the past, they've received complaints at this location, but they were false. People are looking to get free food. I wasn't looking to get free food, I told her. Instead, to retrieve what was owed to my mother. She said to place an order with them at the restaurant and you'll get the taco you are missing. Unreal!!! It's sad that if the owner was in the establishment and didn't take my call, it only speaks volume about how they conduct their business. My business, along with my mother's, will go to a better establishment. Those other women at this location didn't want to help but became combative. I would have written harsher words, but there's no need to drop to their level. Becareful and check your order before leaving. It's your word...

Food is okay .. but everytime I order from here there is a problem with my food I asked for Pico and sour cream on the side so my food won't be soggy .. and of course they didn't do it .. then want to go back and worth with me when I ask them to remake it ... this always happens I ask for 1 item they give me something else then won't make a new dish.. the one I asked for ... Definitely my last time ordering from here cause thats ridiculous I pay you for my food and you give me the wrong food .. and poor customer service

You say the order wasn't called in but thats a lie .. either way my other order was still incorrect it had refried beans and that was never requested .. so regardless both my orders was wrong and everytime I order from your restaurant there is always something wrong with my order periodt and as stated customer service is bad .. this not the 1st time my order been wrong and when I call there's a issue or misunderstanding from...

Disappointed.

Burrito: tasted like a Chipotle burrito. No seasoning. No rice or beans... i think or at least I could not taste it. A bunch of soggy lettuce and tomatoes.

Quesadilla: horrible. Taco Bell makes better ones. A bunch of tortilla with hardly any cheese and meat. Dry crusty tortilla.

Torta pastor: huge thick loaf of bread with cold cheese and Vegetables I think. Horrible. I literally threw half in the trash. Massive bread with tiny cheese and filling. The Tortas at Taco bar in Gaithersburg have pile high of meats...avocados..hot dogs ..ham, etc. Buttery bread too.

Birria Tacos: oily, gresy, soggy. Soup Luke warm.

Sodas: luke warm

So far the best places for Mexican food: Ixtapalapa and Taco Bar both in Gaithersburg. The Lengua (tongue) burritos, tacos are amazing and TORTAS too.

Never again. Tossed...
